  1. First, no one said that weaving in and out of traffic going that fast was smart. But there is nothing all that dangerous about letting it go in a nice car in good driving conditions with no one around.
  2. I dunno, I have gone 130 on a 55 mph once. Also probably been above 100 in a 55 quite a few times. Though if I had been caught I would not have been surprised with a $1000 ticket.
  3. Give me that ring and I'll marry you.
  4. Nice screenie... remember when goog was pushing 800? ouch.
  5. Yeah I did the same in february. Not going back into the market till things settle down.
  6. Yeah looks almost like two people signed the name... like one person didn't have an H in there name and couldnt figure out how to sign a capitol H. Odd.
  7. Well I put my life savings into Len's Super Mortgage Emporium a year ago... have not checked the ticker tape in awhile though. I'm sure it'll be ok.
  8. Heidi L Johnston even sound like a real name, doesn't it?
  9. Ummm... ouch? At least oil is still going down. Bailout was stupid... but dang.
  10. Looks pretty real doesn't it? Gotta love having an unknown warrent over your head!
  11. I wonder if that same swiss restaurant is going to replace their hamburgers with humanburgers. Everyone knows human meat is better than cow meat. Oh and human, cow, soy.
  12. Are you looking for something right downtown near the target center or are you going to be partially mobile? There is a champps downtown which is a decent place to watch a game (advantage their food is crazy good, try the club sandwich)... don't really remember where but its within a few blocks of the target center on 1st ave. There is a place called Macks or something like that NE minneapolis as well that is good. Big10 bar has two locations, one downtown off washington ave and one on the Uminn campus (forget where), both of which are ok choices. Outside downtown, Joe Sencers is good for a game, but its all the way to 494... north of the cities there are a couple of buffalo wild wings, which I have a weakness for. Be aware that all of these places will probably show the game, if it is on at the same time as Minny is playing you will probably not be the showcase game on.

    Woot off!!

Isnt that manufacturer out of business? I wouldn't trust it.
  14. Well, seeing how I just turned off Burnout Revenge for the PS2 system on my PS3 80gig.... You can play these games on a ps3. I haven't played any ps1 games on it, but I know others that have. All I own at the moment are PS2 and PS3 games and I know you CAN play them. So Farmer, if that is the only reason you haven't got one...you have been pointing in the wrong direction. I am here to show you the light my brother! lol With the new software upgrades via the wireless connection you can play these older games. quick point...when you put in a older ps1 or ps2 game disk it ask you to make a virtual memory card on the hard drive. That was something the older software wouldn't allow you to do, but the new software now allows. Well then, I stand corrected. I thought it wouldn't play em but don't know the exact source of my misinformation. No that is not the other reason but that swings me towards the purchase... now where to get the $ for a new tv and ps3?
  15. One of the big reason I have not bought a ps3 is it is NOT backward compatible with ps1 and ps2 games.
  16. Sounds great, but doesnt look all that complicated to me... most of the fingerings and strums seemed pretty straight forward... though I don't play guitar so who knows.
  17. Spend at least one night on the old strip, I think it is Fremont street, lots of good old school casinos and fun street life. There is a shooting range a bit off the strip where you can shoot all sorts of weapons... think its called the 'gun store' or something like that. If you are going to clubs, make sure to take the limo's from the hotels... they are usually free as long as you go to somewhere they get a kickback. Sports book at Mandalay bay (and the pool there) are the best in town. Buffets are way overpriced at the hotels, though the food is crazy good. If you are going to drink at the casinos be careful... but never order a drink from the bars there, always sit down on a cheap slot machine (or be gambling for real) and all drinks are free. Just a few things from when I went there this spring.
  18. Nice work, looks great!
  19. 1 in every 50,000 to 1 in every 70,000 skydives results in a fatality.
  20. Who are the two folks in the back seat?
