ok so hear it is when counter strike changes maps it will change the mic input setting on my sound card. this started happening after i installed xfire. ive tryed deleting xfire but still the same thing. my only sultion right now is to alt tab out every map change and sett my mic input setting back. is thier some console comand tht sets wut mic input setting it defualts to. any help would be appricated. its getting relly annoying. ive got a sound blaster x-fi fatality sound card if it helps any. thnx for any hlp.

ok so i have a soundblaster x-fi fatality card and for some reason every time the map changes my mic setting is defualted to onther setting. this just started happening. it worked fine whn i first got the card. idk wut to do hlp me.

so i logged on to css mic was working fine. logged off came back on acouple hours later mic wont work ingame. i can hear my self on my speakers but no one can hear me in game. i added xfire to my comp inbetween playin. thts the only thing i did between the to session. i tried removing xfire but tht didnt wrk. so im at a loss. any help would b appritated rofl never mind the source for my mic was set to the wrng input output device wich is wierd becuase i didnt cange any of those.

i no in burbank right next to an airport thier is a large holte with a rather large convition center way to large for our needs but thy also host kublacon a gaming convetion. im not shure on prices to rent ares during tht but from my experince its a blast bieng thier. idk thought i would throw my to bits in.

u no wut would be totaly awsome is a ff tht is closer to some of us west coast peeps. i no i wanted to go to ff but 1500 in travel expinces is relly steep for most, much less a 19 yr old. i was jus wondering wut peoples thoughts where on this.
