  1. Browse through the other pictures... Crack you up. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3412344&id=99097327641
  2. Shaftiel's not going to be happy about your comment. You'll hurt his feelings.
  3. Let me go change my drawers... Jerk. It was a good one, though.
  4. I hope you're kidding... How about, not do it because it's wrong?
  5. Having seen the inside of a hard drive and knowing what they do, it's amazing that they don't break down more often. Having said that, I've had only one notebook hard drive go bad ever and I've been computing since hard drives were smaller in capacity than the smallest thumb drives now.
  6. Thanks you for your contribution to the GC community. Good luck to you and don't be a stranger! Go Shaftiel!

Thanks guys... We're very thankful for our baby girl. So much fun to see her change and discover new things everyday. Very different than when Shoot jr and jr2 were babies. Girls are very different. btw evil... I will not send you kimchi for the fear of leakage during transport. I do not wish to be responsible for permanently damaging a UPS man/woman's olfactory system.

You're talking nonsense. Why would you keep your cars or tools there? Leave your car outside to rot.

Are Koreans kosher? What ever is kosher, Korean food is not. We'll eat what ever tastes good (although, not as daring as the Chinese). My only restriction on food is: No pets, I was commenting on how it sounds like you're saying that a Korean (person) was being cooked in the garage but you don't have any Koreans in your garage...and I was wondering if Koreans are kosher, but I guess not if they eat Korean food regularly...this all reminds me of my Korean friend when I was young, we would play StreetFighterII for hours and hours while his grandmother cooked noodles...I still think of SFII when I smell those Korean noodles...thank goodness it's almost lunch! Sorry...hijack over... Oh... I get it. Cook a Korean in the garage. Would you like some fava beans with that Mr. Lecter? It's definitely cool to have friends with different ethnic background. Definitely makes you well rounded (especially if you eat all the food).
  10. Options and accessories are all great, but a bigger consideration should be on how the car drives, feels, and responds "well". For example, a car can go really fast and have great lateral g limits, but if it does this in an unrefined manner, then I think a car with lower numbers with a buttoned-down characteristic should be chosen. Remember, you'll rarely reach the limits of a car on a daily basis and should concentrate on how it feels with your "normal" driving. It's not how fast you go... It's how well you go fast. I'm saying this since you seem performance oriented. I have an American 6.2L, brute of an SUV (extensive performance upgrades w/450+hp and will haul butt) and a very refined German tourer... They both have very similar performance figures, except that there's no comparison on how refined the German car feels and I don't have to fight to keep the car in control like the SUV. Granted I'm comparing two different categories of cars, but on a lesser extend, you're doing the same with the cars on your buy list. They all have different characteristics (FWD, AWD, turbo, non turbo, ride harshness, different trannys, etc.). Drive all the cars and pick the most refined one. I've owned more than a dozen cars since I started driving and I always miss the one that drove "well" and not the one that went the fastest. That's my 2 pennies folks. btw, notice that I've said "refined" like a hundred times? It's important.

  12. You might want to add the Mazda 3 to the list, preferably the Mazadaspeed model. The regular models are great too. The Mazda 3 is the best compact money can buy. My opinion and the opinions of many car magazines. The hatchback is really cool. Look into it.
  13. I hope everybody's home now. He looks studly (I think that's the work I'm reaching for). Anyways, congratulations, and I'm off to buy P&G stock (makers of Pampers diapers). You'll need them... a lot! One more P&G victim.

Cool! I didn't know you had Korean in your family. Glad to see that you carry on the tradition whether you're Korean or not. It's great experience for the children.

Thank you anonymo. The first picture... I'm pro cultural enrichment, so I gave my daughter some hip hop "sign/gestures" lessons. I think she's doing quite well... The second picture, uh... What can I say?

Haven't thought about it until now... I should invite my local GC guys to my functions. Sorry. Next time... Beer's still on. Just wait for my call (btw, pm me you're phone)
  17. Wow... Time flies. It's already been 1 year since Olivia was born. We're getting older my friends. It's Korean tradition to have a big first year birthday and wanted to share with my GC friends. 1st year studio pictures 1st year party pictures and yes, that's Shoot jr and Shoot jr2. I thank God for such precious gifts. Good day folks!
  18. Anyone who's interested in a 22" monitor... Pretty good price. Acer 22" at Tigerdirect I bought the same monitor for $199 about 2 mo ago.
  19. Regardless of car you choose or seat material, you definitely want to get one of these... Not necessarily this brand, but a rear seat cover. Cover I totally agree with you about driving in the snow. A good driver can get you pretty much anywhere a 4x4 will go in snow with a regular front or rear wheel drive with proper traction. Also, some people don't realize that drive train configuration has nothing to do with how quickly it will stop. Some people actually think they can stop faster with a 4x4.
  20. Mazda 3... Most underrated compact car in the market. Most car magazines rate it very high but most people don't know they even exist or brush it off. I recommend the hatchback model to pack your stuff, plus it looks very cool. Your dog will probably appreciate the folding back seat to make room for him, too. This one has high miles, but I posted it so you can get an idea of what it's about. Mazda 3 hatch Unless you really need an SUV or truck for specific purpose, I would stay clear of it due to fuel cost in the long run. If you ski 20 times a year (I'm guessing that's a lot), that's only 20 days out of the year... Getting a gas pig for 20 days out of the year is a waste. I shouldn't be talking because I drive a 11mpg Yukon Denali, but I'm old enough and can spend what ever I want! Do as I say, not as I do. Even though the smaller SUV and tucks seem to give decent mpg, it's still about 25~40% less than most compact cars. That's a lot of money down the road. When you're forty-ish then you can spend more, but for now, you should save.
  21. I'm in... Going to Vegas this weekend, so let me pig out at the buffet for the last time this year.
