Sign up sheet sounds good. I'd say sign up deadline is 1 week before game time. Minimum 2 scrims during the week and a strategy session prior to gametime. Also, not sure how this works but what happens if we get attacked and attack during the same week. Is this possible? For example, we have all the land and each team has only 1 map left. They are all surrounded by us so there only option is to attack one of our maps. Conceivably, we might be playing 11 matches on one day? Er...I better go read the rules again...

I forget how I ping there. If it comes down to it, the maps are also installed on Fox with the wd.cfg ready for execution. I'd say use CsLs unless we have ping problems. If we do, fox is an option.

The auto-kick is annoying in my opinion, especially when playing maps like pacman and iceworld. I think [s!d] has the best one, which prompts the victim if they want to forgive or not. After 3 non-forgives, it kicks. I like this because most of the time, people just forget to forgive. This at least prompts them.

The maps are fully installed on FoxTrot. If we schedule it correctly, I don't think its a big deal locking it down and havin a few 6on6's on a particular WDC map. Who wants to schedule the first scrim? I say it should be the backups vs the starters.

Played during CsLs latenite fragfests. Fun when you have a bunch of friends wanting to play.

oilrig in a nutshell - It's someone's sick twist on cs_assault. Instead of terrorists camping inside a can, they camp outside the can. Instead of CT's desperately trying to get IN the can, they are desperately trying to get OUT of the can. To tell the world even more how twisted he is, he made one of the CT's basically useless by arming him with a pistol with a couple of extra magazines and then crippled all his friends by removing the AWP from the buy list.

I remember during a 6on6 match, moss got disconnected and came in and only had a pistol. He asked for an awp, and 5 awps hit the floor. It was the funniest thing I've ever witnessed during a match. I think it was vs Mmmm. I fell off my chair when that happened. Anyways, aztec is an awp map. It'll be different in other maps. For instance, you might see a bunch of DOH autoshotty whores if the map is cs_office =P

Actually, CS loads a little faster and enters server a little faster because it doesn't have to detect if IPX is available. If you specify noipx, it doesn't bother doing the check so joining a server can be a little bit faster.

I agree with Kurtz. 3 starters, 2 backups max. That way, those who play backup will always have 2nd dibs to playing. Also, we should leave it up to each team captain to tell the CCC who is playing on a week by week basis. We should also schedule practice times on fox/echo so we all know what to do. I'll speak with Moss about getting the maps on echo since it's a non-pub server that is usually used only for matches. For now, Fox will be updated and if we can get a consistent 3on3 or 4on4 going on the map of the week, we should be ok. This is gonna require some communication. The way this tourney goes, we not only have to be prepared for the land we are attacking but be prepared to defend our land as well. The more land we own, the more areas we can get attacked thus making it difficult to concentrate on a specific map. We will maybe assign backup troops to specific maps to defend while keeping the core starters for attacking new land. This will keep us on our toes and we can prepare better for each round. Also, I think maybe the MCC should adopt this system and see how it works?

Getting cursed at for 2 hours while playing CS is never fun. Ignoring can only take you so far. Especially when 5 players are flooding your screen with cheat accusations at once. After a while, it just gets annoying and ruins the fun. If it ruins the fun for a game, then its really no longer a game. And when its no longer a game, what is it then? A job?

I see it all to often when I'm overseeing the server via rcon. I see regulars accusing moss of cheating. I request in Tsay to shut up and record a demo and submit to an admin and they don't listen. It happens almost EVERY single time he plays. I have not seen a night when I didn't see him get accused by someone who's been around for a while of cheating. That in itself is extremely disappointing. I have played CS for a total of 30 minutes in the past 6 days (on plat no less). It's things like this that makes me pull away. It's almost dumb. I think I've accused a regular of cheating maybe once in the past 6 month and I was right about that person (not u sontek). We all make mistakes, I know I have, but if our first instinct is to call "cheat", something is seriously wrong. Anyways, good day to you folks and keep on accusing ppl. Hell, create a script for it so that as soon as you die, it automatically yells "CHEATER!". It'll make it easier on your fingers. In no time, I'm sure you'll get a few more of us to leave this community.

It would be an administrative nightmare.
