It was likely a timed ban, try back tonite. Unless you were being directly offensive toward someone, in which case it could be much longer. Give a time when you were banned and who banned you also (if you know). Makes these things much easier to track down.

You can use HLSW to view BF1942 Server status. Just use port 22000 instead of the connecting port 14567. Don't think it will let you connect thru HLSW b/c of the ports, but I haven't tried, so dunno for sure.

I would love to know if I understood exactly what SuperJo meant. My interpretation: "Be patient, it'll work in 60 mins". Still dunno what's lost and found again. I found that site a while back. It's just always been there with pretty fast downloads. Every place else I've found is either slow, or has waiting lists anymore.

Guys, be patient. The WON servers are up intermittently today. Nothing needs to be changed at all.

Scoreboard never showed up (at least I don't remember it...maybe it was after I got the screenshot, I hit F5 right as it stopped). It was this pic then **loading**.... Dust2, I think. What was weird was that the crosshairs stayed that way till I selected a team on the next map.

Neat, we got the same computer Playaa (at least same as my old one that's sits noisily across the room). And you're right, it's by no means slow. You might find this site useful, I have: OC Workbench for K7S5A Some good info there, and the cheapobios that's available adds more flexibility to the board, and OC capabilities. I've not had problems with it, but, as always, use at your own risk. Somehow it just showed up on one of the refreshes. The port is 14567 (mine was 0 and wouldn't connect directly ) Nice server, 50-60 ping for me

Is the server only up at certain times? I've tried at a couple different times to connect and can't seem to find it. It's just not showing up. I'm updated to 1.3. Is there a particular port?

This link still works. It was one of the official ones on the steampowered website from day one. But the links to it disappeared quickly. I'm just wondering what the differences really are. If it's just a bulletin board and a fuzzy feeling, I'm fine with this version. I'm just happy the new VAC was released 2/11/03. Should be fun seeing what that's able to do.

Got Mandrake Linux up and running. Dual booting on an XP system. Now the question is what to do. I'd like to try some Windows programs under it, and have found Wine (doesn't work so great) and Win4Lin (haven't tried yet). Someone with Linux experience to point me in the right direction here? Also, are there any 'must have' programs for this? It seems pretty intuitive to me so far, and there's a lot of programs already in it. Need a good video viewing program for sure. But would like something to tinker with.

Are you banned from Mmmm Servers? If so, let us know when this happened and what was going on. If you are talking of other community servers, you should approach them on their boards or speak with their people.
