  1. Well it's been a long time guys and dolls, but my life is slowly starting to come together again and i'm thinkin of takin up cs:s again. Anyone still play that game? I've got to do some serious client updating i'm sure, but once that's done i'll try to start dropping in once in a while. Not sure if any of the old regs are still playin or even remember who i am. Well we'll cya in-game.
  2. Don't know if any of you had noticed, but i haven't been around for a few months. I was busy taking care of my wife who was battling cancer. Unfortunately, we lost that battle. She passed away 1/6/9. I may still drop in from time to time, but my life priorities have changed to being a full time parent, both mom and dad. You guys/gals have always been like a distant family to me and i appreciate that. And just in case i don't drop back in, it's been a pleasure getting to know all of you. God Bless and take care. Terry
  3. Sorry to see you go ice. I appreciate all the time you'd put in on SNC's and helping me out with my early mapping. On a personal note, SHAFT?, i mean c'mon, there had to be a better choice
  4. In addition to removing the ClientRegistry.blob you can also try removing Steam.dll and SteamUI.dll. This will force an update from steam and a redownload of some critical files. You can also try looking in the steam window under your games, right click cs:s, properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache... or check to see if the game files need to be defragmented. Good luck.
  5. some jerk was unconnected and was mic spamming baby don't hurt and final countdown.. silverarrow, burn and a few other were on until it cleared the server steam id: 1403 "" STEAM_0:0:20019241 01:52 52 0 active was the only one without a name so i'm guessing it was him
  6. 1. season 2. contra 3. piranesi 4. nuke 5. russka 6. deagle7 7. zannned 8. templepro 9. cpl_mill 10. beroth 11. cpl_strike 12. museum_remake Respectfully Yours, Demonic Plague (Plaque)
  7. Kudos to whomever pushed for bringing scopeless back! I miss the 'ol days and look forward to being back in there. Good job GC! (with the exception of Shaft)
  8. shrop you stole mine. i love to masticate, i usually do it 3 -4 times daily and with family and friends. so let's try smegma not a sexual term, but something to do with the organs used during.
  9. i've heard of similar troubles stemming from routers. might want to make sure your firmware is up-to-date. if you are using a rounter, try bypassing straight to your computer and see if that takes care of it. the other thing you might try is to shutdown steam, delete the following files: ClientRegistry.blob, Steam.dll, and SteamUI.dll then restart steam, let it update and try again.
  10. 1. de_season 2. de_contra 3. de_beroth 4. de_piranesi 5. de_inferno 6. de_cpl_mill 7. de_cpl_strike 8. de_nuke 9. de_losttemple_pro 10. deagle7 11. de_russka 12. de_dust2 (even though i don't particularly like it, it's good for the server) 12 1/2. de_zannned (thanx anonymo, but i don't think it's that good ))))
  11. Look here The picture says it all.
  12. One other note on power supplies. The factory cooling fan is adequate at best. Putting a PS that's twice as large will indoubtedly create substantially more heat. Anyone putting a PS that's 20% or larger than original should look into getting a more powerful (in terms of cu.ft./min) cooling fan. Excessive heat will not only make the PS less efficient, but shorten it's life span. You wouldn't overclock you CPU by more than 20% without a cooling unit of some sort (i hope), why would you do it to any other component? Anyway, hope that helps. Happy Gaming.
  13. Sorry to hear about all your misforutnes, but don't give up! instead get AWAY from antec: from http://www.behardware.com/news/8550/power-...ilure-rate.html Tagan, Enermax and most of all Antec are above the limit. For Antec, the SmartPower 2.0 range including the 500, 350 and 400 Watts versions has very high failure rates: respectively 21.6%, 18.1% and 17.3%. Not a single product has a rate below 2% and the best one is the Neo HE 430 watts at 2.6%. So keep your chin up, it will get better (unless your family is like mine). Good luck on the move though and see you when you get back.
  14. congrats! hell, a fragfest wedding, i'd even drive from iowa to see that.
  15. I wasn't going to chime in ....but, yea he camps and sometimes tries to defuse and yea he usually picks the easier side. but you know where he is going to be almost every round so that should make it easier to kill him. if he's not successful he'll move. on the other side, we've all made fun of him, even had the whole server adopt their own version of his name, i made a map about him. it brings a little life to the server and more chatter when he's on, that's what i like about this server, the communication between people that have something in common, a game a goal an attititude. Keep it up gc.
