It lets you speed up. Its an exploit of the physics engine. It was in Quake they fixed it in Quake 2 but due to complaints they put it back in and then in Quake 3 it is there but off by default. Since HL was based on the Quake 2 engine it was there. Basically if you jump the right way(I was never good at it) it will cause you to accellerate. In quake some of the peopel who were good at it could get going really fast. In theory you could go a limitless speed with it given enough room though the engine probably has some sort of accelleration and velocity cap so you could only go that fast.

Have you seen Shadowbanes graphics? It looks like trash. And if you dont trust me I know people from Dark Age that played the beta and not a single one, even those that were looking forward to it, has anything good to say about the game.

Well by #1 I meant number of people actually playing the game.

CS will never completely die. There will always be people who cling to it. Ok well maybe in a 100 years when we are all dead. Yes some clans evolve. I know of plenty of online gaming clans/guilds that move on to new games together. However I dont see any FPS taking over CS's spot as #1 anytime soon.

Its human nature Cane It gets to everyone sooner or later and they either do something about it or ignore it until they are miserable and old. Though its true that you dont necessarily need someone of the oppossite sex to fill this need for love that all humans have. Some people get it from other places like religion, friends, doing community service, etc... But worldly things that mean nothing in the end wont ever truely be able to make someone happy.

I had a low wonid. But now Im on my 5th or 6th CD key since I keep losing HL and then end up formatting. I dont even know where my current CDs are. Ive owned at least 4 copies of Half Life, and 1 copy of retail and I might have owned more at one point in time but Im not sure. The only copy that I know where its at is my HL for PS2. So my current wonid is really high but the first time I played CS was beta 3 or so. I didnt get serious and really addicted until 1.0 though.

Lets see I think it was just over 2 years ago when I was in Chicago I refreshed servers went to the fastest active server. That server was the LuckyCharms server. I got about 15 ping back in the day to that server. Liked all the plugins they ran, the stats page(I dont care about my personal stats but I love looking at stats ), and the players. Eventually I ventured to DOH, Mmmm, and DLM servers. Really only played on community servers for the last 2 and a half years or so. Can't stand other servers anymore.

Mrx can you do me a big favor with the dice plugin? edit the kevlar thing. "You roll dice end given kevlar" or something like that. should be "You roll the dice and are given kevlar" Bugs me every time I get it.

Well I did sv_rolldice 0 in my server.cfg on my LAN server and it worked /shrug

Id say Marry the one you love and then you will love the one you married. Ive got the love but we are waiting on marriage since we are both just graduating college and need to get situated for a year or two before we can settle down in the whole marriage thing. But we both know how much we love eachother so its all good.
