    Yep, after HL2 is released and Valve has fulfilled their contractual obligations I forsee them leaving Vivendi and distributing future games exclusively via Steam for the most part. They will probably release in stores a month later or something for those that don't have broadband but I would guess they would heavily push the Steam thing.

    They haven't been making CS: S for 2 years they have been making HL2 for 5 years CS: S they probably only worked on for the last year at most and probably less.

    I kind of thought that myself. If that is the case I won't be getting it until next month as I wont have internet after this weekend until November anyways. Oh well

    stuck in work until the end of the day and no money to pre order HL2, anyone know if I pre order HL2 now if it will charge me when the game comes out? I know that is how CS: CZ worked. Payday is tomorrow and I am moving next week so I Can't afford HL2 until the following payday.

    I meant to reply to this before, pretty solid article. The one complaint the guy had(I don't remember what it was) isn't valid if he played the game more and to higher levels. But overall pretty good article.

    If you buy it online the game will be registered to your steam account so if you format and install steam again and just login with your name it will download the game again. I know this because I bought CS: CZ online and have reformatted twice since then

    Who says there will be a CS2? what are they going to add? The engine is being upgraded and they patch the game every now and then as is so I wouldn't even count on there ever being a CS2. IMO this is the closest you are going to get.

    I played magic when it first came out. I quit right when the Legends expansion came out(what was that the 3rd? or 4th? 5th at the most.), I have 13,000 posts on the vnboards which is all about online gaming. However I moved out on my own at 17 though now I am 22 and am moving in with my grandparents Let me take the geektest

    My whole entire DAoC guild is going to be horde on a non PvP server. I have played both in the beta have a 35 mage on Beta 1 server, 25 mage on Beta 2 and a 55 mage on the PvP server. No way do I want to put up with griefers on the PvP server. There is still FvF fighting on the regular servers with battlegrounds and such so I will stick to that and engage in PvP when I choose.
