for some reason i cannot get this stupid thing to work in my config i have: hud_fastswitch "1" _cl_autowepswitch "1" (i actually dont know what this does, but it looked pertinent) bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invnext" bind "MWHEELUP" "invprev" now why wouldnt this let me flip back and forth bw weapons (with my mouse scroll) without having to scroll to it and then press fire?

is there a way in mozilla to automatically open new pages in a tab without hitting extra buttons? nofx - is there a reason u like firefix over mozilla?

is that true about the userconfig? that rulez! im gonna change it right now.

i justed dl-ed both and i was wondering what are the pro's and con's of both? cause i know alot of yall run this stuff and im trying to get away from ie

what i did was set up my config the way i wanted it exited game went into my cs folder and made a copy of the folder re-named it laz.cfg then whenever i start cs, i type in console: exec laz.cfg and all my settings are restored

yeah wires and such around my hsf are nice and clean i need to zip tie some wires at the top of my case, but thats it slap made it look nice in there. ill see if slap will do this tomorrow sometime after the g-day game (UGA football intrasquad game) ill let ya know the results

im a dum-dum. when flux typed in 25000, i put 2500 in my config......heh i am totally up and running i wanna thank all the little people who helped me to get here i wont forget you when im big actually the only problem i have is that when i alt-tab out and go back, the screen is black, i know that i can fire and run around i just cant see anything...like being blindfolded

slap described what i got: 2 intake front 1 intake on side 2 outtake back 1 outtake top all of the 80mm i got a 3rd party hsf, its thisone and it came with thermal paste on it

on my old comp, i had a steady ping at around 50-60 now it's all over the place i had my cmdrate set at 30 and my updaterate at 20 and my ping was all over the place i switched it to 100 for both, but it is still all over the place and i think its bc of these two values what should i have them set at?

you guys are geniuses! its up and working now i just have to fix my ping NEW THREAD!

idle at 46 C max at 52-53 C and i got the amd athlon 2500 (barton)

yeah i got the radeon 9600 xt a small little breakthru, i have NOT done the driver sweep yet but i did go into my cs settings and took fats advice and i turned the video setting to software and whammo, fixed, except that i get 30 fps and the video is terrible the same thing with D3D video setting, i get the load screen great BUT the video is really weird and lags. does this help any with figuring out the problem?

slappy help me install a temp monitor and it says my processor is idling at around 115 F and when i push it, it tops out at around 127 F is this okay, little too hot, way too hot if yes, any suggestions on a really nice hsf.

okay...this is how far ive gotten..... i can get in game by: starting cs i get to the screen with the two cs guys (no box with loading info) crt-alt-del restore cs window (but "loading box" is now BRIGHT neon green) i can get in a game but the screen to view all the players and kills and death is also BRIGHT GREEN so what do yall think ever even heard of this problem? i know yermother had the excact same problem, so if he could tell me how he fixed it that would be awesome

yeah flux, i tried that. i got the file from fileshack...had to wait 40 minutes for it. ive uninstalled/reinstalled half-life, uninstalled/reinstalled steam, uninstalled/reinstalled video drivers. and i CANNOT get this stupid thing to work right. ARGRGRGHRGRHGRHRGHRGR!!!!!! this makes me wanna quit cs i have to alt-tab outta the "two cs guys screen" go back to that window cancel the load to the game then i get the right screen where i have the menu for servers, quit, etc. i have no idea whats wrong, im about to take a sledge hammer to it

i have to bump this cause im having the same problem and have NO IDEA how to fix it. ive done everything that yermother did, mulitple uninstall/re-installs of half-life, cs, steam, vid-card drivers. nothing seems to work. im hopelessly lost, it all started cause im puttin together a new computer and this is my last hurdle b4 im totally thru installing everything. so any help that gets cs set up, ill buy em some dinner at fragfest. (slappy i helping right now, so if he beats yall to the punch ill still buy someone dinner)

i spilled a bunch of coke into my keyboard, and now all the bottom keys are sticking. is there anyway to fix this problem, short of gettin a new keyboard? *edit....i cant spell

playaa i ran into the exact same problem you did setting up my new comp. me and slaphappy figured the problem out tho. tru it is overheating, but on my vid card (9600xt) there is an overdrive option when i have that turn OFF no porblems running anything. hope this helps till ya get a fan

it just recently started, i also recently found a virus on my comp for the first time ever norton got it and couldnt kill it, so it quarantined the virus, and i deleted it. about that same time i ran a ram optimizer (a foolish move on my part) SO, now ie freezes every 2-3 minutes when i try to click on something. i can still move the mouse pointer around but it just takes 5-6 to load a new page and now it does this weird thing where the window will all of a sudden shrink down to another size, when i try to click on something. im thinkin about re-installing ie (dont really know how to do this) i just wanted to post here first cause u guys are smrt and maybe someone has had this problem before

i have a really nice foosball table (the one with 3 men on the back line) and i have a rule that there is NO SPINNING AT ALL on the table. the thing is i got no way to get it up there the car im riding in is packed to the brim anyway. i might be able to if i can snag a suv or sumthing.
