We only have one mc server, so I will take down the normal map temporarily while we play. Dynmap won't be working during this time.

Yeah, we tried it out 3v3, was alright. Felt kinda badly about crushing the opposition... but it was a lot of fun, haha. I'll be on Saturday afternoon, starting maybe around 2 or 3pm here (Eastern US time). We'll play whenever there are enough players available.

Better to try and get the teams balanced out before starting. This is the reason we added the !ready command (a while ago), so players could not rush out of the safe room before both teams are ready. If you're feeling impatient, just ask everyone if it's ok to start. If players are not connecting, sometimes it's not going to be worth waiting a long time for players to connect. But do ask.

Anyone want to try one of these out tomorrow night, say ~11:30pm Eastern time? If that don't work, how about Saturday afternoon sometime? I tested loading one of the maps on the server, and it works fine.

I'd like a fresh start too, when 1.6 comes out for Bukkit. I'll work on my mcedit skills so I can save players' builds. It shouldn't be too hard to move over some of these areas to a new map, for whoever would want that. I agree that the global spawn area is cluttered and could be greatly improved.

I have a lvl 71 Mesmer.. need to make that push to 80 sometime soon. Account is Biggs.9467 ps. When I search for Summoner Tibbers in the contacts tab, it tells me no players have that name.. what's the deal with that?

You guys have how many hours on the server and you never knew about the !toggleaimbot command? oh it's !toggleaimbot, silly me I always tried !aimbotactivate or !hackon !hacksoff Yep, it's !toggleaimbot! !hackon and !hacksoff is close, but I think you're thinking of !waxon and !waxoff, which is used to conjure/banish Pat Morita's ghost.

I looked more carefully at the logs, and I really don't see anything explaining what happened. It does seem Mexican Cowboy was confused when the round ended. There is no log of anyone using the sm_stuck command, nor the sm_teleport command.

Server list? It doesn't get much traffic, so it wouldn't show up for that reason (I think).

As soon as we do this, 20 threads start on the forums--"Can't join server!! Help!" ... "L4d2 server broke??" ... "Which admin keeps kicking me?" But anyways, maybe it is worth a try. As long as it's well-advertised on the forums, on the steam group and through word of mouth, we might be able to fill the server for such an event..
