  1. When I team switch when it's 10v8 there is nothing wrong with doing that. The rules clearly state not to stack the teams. If I don't want to play on your team then I have the right to leave the server if you won't amicably let me play on the other team. You have also repeatedly attempted to add me as a friend on Steam to which I have rejected multiple times. I would appreciate it if you would stop doing this as I have no desire to be friends with you on steam. I also do not appreciate you messaging people on my friends list to talk to them about me. If I don't want to play with you and don't want to have a conversation with you that is my right. There is also NOTHING disrespectful about saying I don't want to play on your team and leaving the server to play elsewhere. Banning someone after they've left because they don't want to play with you is both disrespectful and abusive of your powers. None of my comments were in any way inappropriate. I did not swear or get angry. You have taken a simple situation and escalated it to the point where it now needs to be made public on this forum.
  2. STEAM_1:0:93914 I switched teams when it was 10v8 to balance it out and because I don't like playing with someone that was on that team. I was then forcibly moved back at which point i stated that I was evening the teams and do not like playing with said person. I was then moved to spectate so I left the server to play on the other one and now I'm banned. There is no valid reason to ban me for that. I have the right to leave the server if I choose to and there is nothing in the rules that says I have to play on someone's team if I don't enjoy playing with them. This is blatant abuse of admin privileges. Oh and this happened at 6:50'ish PM PST on L4D2 Server #1.
  3. Mercman was told not to votekick me by Maestro since I hadn't done anything wrong and he did it anyways. Maestro, swatfishy, and JKap all saw it.
  4. How come you don't add in a custom map of the month or something? Even all 12 or whatever of the official campaigns are boring as hell now. Some single map campaigns would be cool since the teams are only going to be that way for one single map and you have to actually try since you can't make up your points later. Just sayin' bro.
  5. I got you fatty. What steam account/email you want it sent to? Free.
  6. Haven't read everything but just wanted to point out that the current scramble only functions for the first 8 players then it dumps the next 6 onto infected and fills survivors last. It's based on a 4vs4 versus not a 10vs10 unless something has been changed in the last 3 months to circumvent this. You can see this late at night when the server is below 20 people the scramble will make the teams 4vs10, 6vs10, etc.
  7. I'll be playing GW2 on Crystal Desert so you can avoid me or join me based on your opinion of me. Good day.
  8. I guess this is as good a thread as any to chime in on. You guys know I don't pay for a membership; I have my reasons which I'm not going to get into in this thread. Lately your L4D2 server feels like you have to pay for a membership to even stand a chance at playing there during a 6-8 hour chunk of the day. I understand your kick system and it's a pretty standard system just like in every other game. The difference with L4D is that games last about 1-2 hours. It's not really like other FPS games where each round is essentially a brand new game. I know a lot of the members around here say to the people who don't have membership that they should just "suck it up" and pay the $15 a year. Well, if you're telling people that they need to pay money or get kicked then what you're describing is extortion so maybe you should be a little more considerate with your posts and enjoy the benefits of your membership instead. I find it hilarious and disgraceful that you're having an argument over how to divvy up the points of someone who gets kicked so that you can have the privilege of playing immediately. My issue with the system you're using isn't that it kicks people to make room for members, it's that in a server that takes such a long time to get into and with games lasting as long as they do there are times where the same member will repeatedly kick the same person. People also have a lot more invested into the game than they do a round of Counter-Strike so when they're kicked mid-round it's a pretty big deal. I saw dryfire get kicked about 5 times in a row one night because someone would join for five minutes, have some sort of computer issue, disconnect, and then join back in again five minutes later. It's pretty much impossible for a non-member to take a quick break to use the restroom without losing their spot but I frequently see members go AFK in spectate for a few minutes while some poor sap holds their survivor for them so a bot doesn't get it killed. You guys seem to be pulling in something to the tune of 10-20 members a week these days so I kinda figured you'd already be in talks about making a second server. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that some of your reasons for not making one immediately are that new membership rates will slow down as demand for slots decreases and the second server won't be as popular because the regulars won't want to be split across servers. Then there's all the logistics of transitioning the kick system into one that moves people to the other server or something of the sort, who to move, how to deal with member access to a full server, etc. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys choose to just stick with one server. As such, the kicking thing is going to continue to be an issue. Anyways, my point in all this... I've stopped playing on your server. This is the second time I've done so; the first was because the team stacking was getting out of control and this time it's because of the kick system. I've been playing on GC servers for a very long time but playing on the L4D2 server without a membership has just been too difficult lately. I have some ideas for what you guys could do with it but I understand that you have to cater to your donating members first and foremost so I don't expect the system to really change at all. I'm sure all the admins know of the issues and have had extensive talks about it but a lot of the community members seem to take their membership for granted and look down on people who don't pay. Session, I guarantee many of the non-paying people around GC servers have given a lot more to the community than you have so you really need to re-think some of the stuff you've said. Just because you gave them $15 (and I really doubt you considered it a "donation" when you did) does not make you better than people who haven't. Good day. P.S. Flitter how have I not run into you before?
  9. You can still buy ammo, and did you not like paying $16,000 for an AWP and $16,000 for a Desert Eagle? I thought it was fairly representative of supply and demand.
  10. Why have I had 13 profile views already? Are you people out there just browsing profiles for fun?
