  1. I would incap JKap and Monkie every chance I get. JKap just because it rhymes. Monkie because then I'd finally be able to say, just once, that I incap'd him in a game.
  2. Lol - love how NiP ended up having to pull out the aimbots/wallhax to win the last few rounds. Tournament play is so dumb.

I always shoot all Boomers immediately. I need dat +1 (I never headshot). If you are on my team and don't wanna be boomed, get out da way!
  4. Not really any way to avoid situations like this one, unless you want to ease up globally on the "rushing" rule and make it so it's blatantly obvious to even new guys that "Hmmm maybe that person/couple of people shouldn't be that far ahead." Doing so will open the door for people to push boundaries, and you know they will.
  5. Just read Hungarian's post after I posted mine... and that just goes to show you that even 2 members on the same team, in the same game, can have different opinions on an event. And regarding the evening of teams - the Admins' job is to ensure a fair, fun game for all 20 players - not to keep teams the same just because one side is having fun, and the other side isn't. As a general rule, fair, balanced games should be everyone's goal. The Admins have a pretty rough job - at the end of the day we have to trust that they're doing what's best for ALL the players in the game.
  6. I was in the game (on the Infected side) during this one, and simply my opinion -- that's it and that's all: A tank died, and before Leo and Merc dropped and ran ahead another tank was put into play. Now of course I can't hear what the other team is saying, so I don't know if this was an approved "rush" or not, but with 8 people up in the yard fighting a tank, and 2 run ahead (especially past a choke point), that certainly appears as a rush. This one specfically is a touchy one, and can probably go either way in anyone's opinion. However, the Admins by default get the last say, and it's quite unlike Merc to rush. Not saying you rush, Leo, but you're usually at the front of the pack on your team (which is fine) - leading the way and helping block. Which is fine... usually. But this one did look like rushing, especially when another tank (almost) immediately came into play. Again, only my $.02, from my perspective as someone who happened to be playing at the time in question.
  7. You must not play very often, because there's a defib or two on every round (on average). Defbs are as common as they ever were, they're just handled a different way startegically now by the Survivors.
  8. B&W on defib/respawn - it's already handled the best way by the Survivors. As soon as someone is defib'd there's at least 4/5 times when someone else (or that same person who just defib'd) immediately heals the B&W. Unless it's the end of a round and a Main is simply trying to respawn/rush to get a few extra points, it's not even really an issue very often anymore. The same will happen with the infected medkits, once the Survivors have adapted to it.
  9. I'm not sure that's even a thing that actually occurs (no members are on, and all players have no idea what GC even is). At least on the L4D2 server
  10. I like how it is currently. Survivors should rarely, if ever, make it to the safe room. Plus it's a learning curve, just like with anything.
  11. The good news is that your hard drive (where the data is actually stored) is probably not bad. Or even if it is, a majority of the data is salvageable. First thing: remove the hard drive(s) from your current PC. Set them aside to include as secondary drives in your new machine. Once you do get a new machine built, simply plug in the old hard drive(s) as second/third/fourth/etc drives, after the first (new OS) drive, and bam - all your data is there under D: or E: or F:, etc. (crossing fingers this works for you). If the hard drive is actually bad, there are decent software utilities that can scan a drive and attempt to recover as much data as possible. I know how much it sucks to lose a lot of work - good luck in getting as much as possible saved!
  12. We can always just re-bind once the new menu layout is done.
  13. Meh. A 1% chance for an extra 2 points, and a survivor that needs healed straight away. Very situational - if a Survivor happens to be near incap'd, it's pretty evil. If he's infected right out of the safe room, it's pretty negligible. Lord knows the Survivors don't need anything else hindering them, huh?
  14. Drop em in the safe room, so that they don't spawn randomly on roofs/behind barriers/etc. Random Boomer infections (1 out of every 100 infections) insta-kills a Survivor (like a witch attack on Expert). One out of every 10,000 booms... that sounds low. 1 out of every 10 infections then. If you get infected, 10% chance of death!
  15. Wait you're using creative mode to build this thing? That's kind of unfair...none of the other admins do that. Lol - complaining about "fairness" in Minecraft. Large scale projects require Creative mode to be able to actually accomplish something of a large enough scale. If not, you have a lot of impressive, large-ish things in the world, but nothing of the 0_0 factor like other servers have. As long as it's not abused (and it wasn't at all in this case, (my opinion)), I have no problem with Admins using Creative mode to build something for everyone to use. If this had been just another castle or large building that had restrictions/permissions/etc on it, that would be a different story.
  16. This completely disregards the fact that for the losing team, those other 4/5 levels (not including the finale) are *not* fun. It's 4 levels of one team getting absolutely destroyed. Remember we're not talking about every match... just the matches in which, by the 2nd or 3rd level, the scores are so disparate that the game is basically over. You are having fun because you're on the winning team. The other half of the people on the Server are building up rage. And that's when the trouble starts. And keep in mind, none of the proposed changes or suggestions would preclude the winning team from instituting 2nd level weapons only, or Admin slapping, or Boomer/Jockey rounds, etc. If the winning team continues to rack up the points, they can continue to play however the majority of the team decides to play. It's not about political correctness (and that's a term that gets thrown around now anytime there's a disagreement on anything), it's about maximizing fun for the most number of players, for the most number of rounds.
  17. You must suicide a heckuva lot then. (Cause you bad) (At L4D) (And life in general)
  18. It's obvious in what form he meant the swastika, as he has admitted he did it to "grief" and cause trouble. Any rational person can interpret his actions and intent accordingly.
  19. Good riddance to ya. And lol - I knew you'd try the whole "swastikas were used way before the Third Reich" excuse. I'm certain you meant the ancient Hindu symbol when you made those on the Server. Some hate-filled people are so predictable. On a side note - if you need a hard-set "rule" against being an idiot of this magnitude, you're better off playing somewhere else and never stepping foot on another GC Server again.
  20. Meh. I demand OP for a day so I can get retaliation.
  21. That's actually my stuff that Venge killed me and stole from me, so just cut out the middle man and give it back to me. Don't give Avengers anything.
  22. What is the record for most points in a round? General with over 500? sk with 750? Me with a billion? Yeah... that's probably it.
