Is it worth RACING to get that present ? Currently the answer is yes, its a free point. Whats amazing is it doesn't matter if you are the only one standing or you killed the infected or not....everyone runs towards it. So i was curious if it was possible to modify the code for the gift to instead of ALWAYS rewarding you with one point, it would reward you with any of the following items depending on its rarity: +1 point (25% Chance) -1 point (25% Chance) Ammo Refill (10% Chance) Molotov, Bile Jar or Pipe Bomb (10% Chance) Adrenaline Shot or Pills (10% Chance) First Aid Kit or Defibrillator (5% Chance) Random Primary Weapon (5% Chance) Random Secondary Weapon (5% Chance) Reduce Health by 10 points (2% Chance) BW or Infected Survivor (2% Chance) +15 Points (1% Chance) Mainly the goal is to keep the reward from a present SURPRISING. It would also bring the team to work together, even the best players could get infected and have their health reduced by simply picking up a present. I would love to hear from others who play L4d on the GC server regarding this idea, and if you have more items for the above list, i can edit my post to include them as well. Thanks, Avengers

That's the browser on Origin and yes agreed. Also when a friend messages you, I have to alt+tab to read in even though i have origin in game enabled. Compared to Steam, its absolute garbaaaaaaaaage...

Well i am still playing the game, and yes it would be alot of fun, but the fact that Simcity was released before these bugs were fixed just marvels me...It seems at times, this game is still in beta. I want in the GC Redux region...

Totally with you there....almost everything is bugged, i have a feeling this game was simply a quick moneymaker for EA, and now that they have started refusing refunds officially, only Amazon offers them. So many petitions, bugs, reports and terrible PR...i bet we will be hearing about court cases soon and the end of Maxis hopefully EA is so banged up with this game! Their forums are full of requests of help, nothing bloody hell works.... Raging here too btw, built a city with petroleum trading...come to find out global trading and many features related to it are disabled lmao, so that they could reduce server load..........what am i supposed to do with 8000 barrels of fuel, feeed it to the sims ??? I am not returning it, but i wanna keep it in hopes that all this bad PR will actually make them fix stuff, and maybe in 3-5 years it will be good to play.....

LMAO, after practicing creating cities on my own...i finally decide to accept my invite to GC Redux, i was totally excited for a marathon of atleast 20+ hours of Simcity and when the region loads up....ITS FULL P.S. It would be nice to have a simcity channel on ventrilo so we can communicate with other online players, origin is terrible with messages. And since the game is getting more players, was thinking a simcity section on the forum might be good, we can post progress and guides for other new people...tips and tricks, FAQ, etc

All you folks posting Screenshots of their cities which look better than mine....Voodoo, GirlZilla, Jackie...i am gonna download that Simcity mod going around the net and destroy your cities with meteor showers, tornados, eathquakes, etc then post them here! Fun times ahead :D P.S. Dont need to bother with lousiest's city lol it will kill itself....

Wouldnt it be easier to make a new building "Homeless Shelter" and by getting jobs they could finally rise back up? could also come out of the mayors payroll like the other expenses....wow EA, took me 5 secs to think of that.

The the problem i am facing....i dont think the homeless people can afford housing in those areas even when i free up some room, maybe next time ill keep some low, medium and high wealth residential areas

On a side note, for all you pros in Simcity....i built a city with +10k per hour income, everything was great but suddenly i got a homeless people problem and i wanted to solve it but couldn't figure out how so instead i self induced an earthquake and 4 tornados in my city bring it down to rubble lol But, for future reference any ideas on how to solve it ?
