I got to run a torch to light a campfire celebrating scoutings 150th year it was in front of about 7000 scouts and as I stuck the torch into the pile of wood ..... it went out luckly I had a lighter so I kinda faked it. The ashes from the fire were spread at the tomb od lord baden powell. The best part of it I got to sit in the vip area right inbetween green bar bill and miss teen usa it was one of the best moments of my scouting life next to getting eagle.
Also Philmont was an awsome experience
I am glad that there are so many peeps willing to help we will prolly need some too with each puter needing scanned for viri and such but we will have to wait for mom to bring the dhcp serverto get truly running and I dont know if he got off work for the day
I just bought a new family tent this year and it got rain tested with no water getting into the main body of it
A little did get into the porch area because of the high winds but a small piece of plastic did the trick just fine. For backpacking I use a different tent
Just remember when choosing a tent make sure that the rain fly goes almost to the ground and also use a good seam sealer before you venture out for the first time
