Interesting stuff. What do u suggest I do zero? Uninstall the 4.11's I have and just install the omegas? Do I need to have the catalysts installed before hand? Should I windows update to the .NET framework? These are the omegas I downloaded omega_2597a-.exe, let me know zero, thanks

I was going to suggest this but noticed it alrdy has been. This map seems very well built, its changed a bit. Other side of rafters have wooden planks so u can get shot from outside. Entrances to the inside have changed a bit. The spawns look kind of bad. Lower has changed with no doors. All in all I really think this map is good but can be improved a bit. It definately has some life alrdy so I'd love to see it on the server.

That is weird looking. I don't know how anyone could play any game in that thing.

So I tried benchmarking my computer and I believe my 3dmark01 score was way too low for my system. x800XT A64 3500+ 1 gig of ram. The score was around 16000 Running the 4.11 drivers(For some reason I can't run the catalysts because everytime I try and install them, when my comp reboots the ccc.exe gives me a memory error and I can't open the control center) This has happened even with a fresh install of windows. I am getting 50-90 fps in HL2 with all settings high 4xAA and 8xAF(1024 res) and when I asked a couple people that seemed about correct. Anyone have any ideas why my 3dmarkscore is so low? Or why I can't install the catalyst drivers?

I just ran 3dmark01 for trying to test my comp. I got 16031 with 1024 no AA and 32bit color. Seems VERY low for my system. x800xt a64 3500+ 1gig ram No OCing all stock and default. I could be wrong tho. Any thoughts?

return it and spring the extra cash for a 6800GT or x800Pro. Or if u rly have money 6800Ultra or x800XT.

if u got the x-dreamer case. There are 2 plugs for the LED's on the front, take off the other side panel and find the other plug. Also make sure ur power supply is enough.

We had a slight problem day2 where the real melee guy was off on a break so I was sitting at home trying to update the melee as best I could from resources available so I COULD keep the melee updated, we knew a lot of people were getting annoyed. It was very far behind on Day 2 and I will not lie on it but we got it back on track Day 3 for the best matches of the event. Thanks though for the imput. We really tried to outdo ourselves this time and I feel we did with our statistical system and amnt of videos and articles from this event. It was a great time.

Well the event is over and while I wish I was in Dallas, I'm sure the guys there had a blast. Coverage went well and we had a TON of articles come out within the 5 days.
