Don't get me started on Limp Bizkit... first cd was the only good one I think. As for the new Linkin Park cd... GREAT cd! I love it. Very technical and well done. You can definitly tell they put the effort into it. I would recommend checking it out.

Hey Homer, how's the Civic Si run? Pretty quick get up? I keep fighting over whether or not to get a little sports car or a truck. Right now I have an 89 Celica ST. Fun little car, quick. Ok time for opinions. I am about 6' - 6'1" 165 lbs so not too small, and my current method of getting out of my low riding little celica is the scoot out and stand. Think I should go for the fast little fun head turner or the nice roomy truck?

For some strange reason I thought the M3 actually had an 8 in it, sould be a 6 though. The BMW 3-series is one of the most amazing line of cars ever. The traction control system in them is spectacular to watch. If you ever get a chance to see the Speed Channel's show on the 3-series with them testing it at the BMW test center, watch it! They have a wet skid pad that is pretty much just black asphalt that is soaked with an inch or 2 of water spray and they took them out on it. They showed it with the TCS on and off, and boy does that thing work miracles! They were carving corners like it was nothing. So yes, my vote would be for the M3. But!... I would have to say for the money, Goot was right on with the 350Z. Those are amazingly powerful cars too. Real head-turning style too. I drool everytime I see one.

Thanks for the help guys. I stumbled on that topic right after I wrote that out. I just need to threaten um with the ole "Do you want the computer to work or not?" That usually seems to work pretty well. Right now the computer locks up very frequently. I am hoping the reformat and newer OS will help out. Thanks again guys!

Alright. Let's start with the pressing issue. Today, my computer starts freezing when CS is started. I launch using HLSW, and when the console gets to "Trying to authenticate with WON Servers" it freezes. The modem is still showing activity, but thats as far as anything goes. Net_graph 3 freezes at 5.3 FPS everytime. This just started happening today. I deleted and reinstalled CS, with no luck in solving the problem. Maybe I should reinstall HL and CS? The strange part about this is that when I go through CS itself, and I click Play CS the Play Online, it freezes. In both cases I can do alt-ctrl-delete but nothing happens except a cursor appearing and no change in screen. I then have to shut off comp and reboot. My next dilemma is that I currently am running Windows 98... not 98 SE.. straight 98... never have reformatted since computer was bought (est. 2 years ago). I currently have a Windows XP Pro disk I am borrowing from a friend and desperatly want to reformat. I have been told over and over that XP is much more stable and will give less trouble. My family is a bit ridiculous and keep stalling this process. Can you give me a brief- down to earth- common term list of XP's advantages over 98? They don't seem to believe me. ** I AM AN IDIOT! I should learn to check other forums for help... Fixed now !** P.S. Can be deleted
