  2. I guess you're right. I was looking at the 3800's, but they're like 300$
  3. I should be arriving thursday barring no unforseen circumstances.
  4. Thanks I grabbed the log for the office freeze, then someone changed it to office again, and it didn't freeze, can't see any differences in the logs.
  5. They used to be the cheaper underdog, but I dont' really see them being very reasonable anymore.
  6. I would go with the dell over that, for the VGA screen alone it's also got 124mhz more processing power. But as long as you're happy that's all that matters!
  7. Maybe I'll stick with my P4 since when did AMD jack their prices up?
  8. Thanks guys, If guess I could get a 64 bit processor, but with an x1800xt do I really need crossfire? I mean the card seriously whoops butt already. I like the board I posted because it can hold up to 4gb's of ram. But I'm still pretty much stumped on the processor. If i get a 64 bit do i have to run 64 bit windows? I hear a lot of bad things about it.
  9. Every couple of years I switch brands, just to keep from being a fanboi. It's about that time again this year. Currently I have a P4 2.8ghz that I'm looking to swap out with something from AMD that's gonna be a little jumpier. I don't want a 64bit processor. I haven't really kept up on AMD news in the last couple of years. I want to put this in a micro atx board, anything other than a VIA chipset. I currently only use MSI board but most of the Micro ATX boards for AMD are using VIA chipsets. Anyone recommend a Processor and a Micro ATX board, that has Sata and PCI-E.
  10. Is that where you hang your gang rag when you sleep? I always wondered what you gangsters did.
  11. I've got the hd580's had them replaced once, bad speaker coil. I've had them going on 3 years now so I'm very very happy and would definitely buy another pair in a heartbeat. If i had to take a stab I'd say J's are the HD500's.
  12. Nice work Ice. A note to everyone "rockthevote" is enabled, this should help with map freezes to start it just get 4 players to type "rockthevote". The primetime and lat night cycles look awesome. Much appreciated.
  13. I love life aquatic, even bought the dvd although I had already downloaded it.
  14. If you are deciding personally, I would keep the Palm, and pick up one of these from walmart. My girlfriend just got one and it rocks. It sounds awesome. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3756866
  15. I decided to go with a pda over an Ipod for the following reasons. 1. Falling prices of SD cards and flash memory. 2. WiFi access 3. It plays whatever movies media and what not I can throw at it, it's a VGA screen so it's waay better looking than the video ipod. 4. It was a little cheaper than a video ipod 5. I can use skype on it free VOIP I bought a dell axim X30i which I then sold and bought an X50v which I love. Video today looks sharp, sound even through the speakers sounds full and rich when I hook it to my sennheisers it sounds incredible. I've got a 1gig flash card for it and 2 1 gig SD chips. I haven't ran out of storage yet. I re-encode all my video using pocketdivxencoder which is super fast and can usually drop a movie down to about 70mb with minimal quality loss (because the screens alot smaller than a tv) MemoryInstalled RAM 64 MB RAM technology SDRAM Installed ROM 128 MB Flash ProcessorProcessor Intel 624 MHzXscale AudioDigital audio standards supported MP3, WMA Audio input type Microphone Audio output type Speaker(s) Voice recording capability Yes TelecomModem None DisplayDisplay type 3.7 in TFT active matrix Color support 16-bit (64K colors) Max resolution 480 x 640 Expansion / ConnectivityWireless connectivity IrDA, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11b Expansion slot(s) total (free) 1 SD Memory Card, 1 CompactFlash Card Type II PowerBattery installed ( max ) 1 Lithium ion Power supply device Power adapter Power device frequency required 50/60 Hz Environmental ParametersOperating humidity range 10 - 90% GPSGPS System / GPS Navigation None WarrantyService & support type 1 year warranty Service / Support Details 1 year Limited warranty Replacement
  16. Thanks I'm thinking about gettign rid of it, if you look to the right of it you'll see the identical case but in black with green lights. That's the girlfriends. That pictures a little out-dated I replaced the middle pc with a media center edition in a fragbox saves some space and it's much quieter. I'm thinking about putting my main machine inside a fragbox now too. They're awesome.
  17. the one whose desk it's on. Jen's desk is on the right, she thinks it'll be better for her teeth. lol
  18. Who all would be opposed to the auto team balancing like West is running? You can join whatever side you want but you may get balanced at the end of each round. I see lots of posts about stacking but there isn't really any logical solution except running a balancer. IMO Wests solution works well.
