Wow, 9/10, this movie was amazing, jamie fox was the unusal hero, Tom cruise was great as the brutal villian, and no sappy love story from the very hot jada pinkett smith. Great rent guys!

My Fiance and I just rented this last night...I am one for wierd kind of movies such as this...along the lines of Being John Malkovich and Vanilla Sky...both of which I really liked. I thought this was a great movie...I really enjoy Jim Carey in a straight man kind of role and think he did an awesome job in this one. Actually I thought all the actors in this movie were teriffic. I thought the story was pretty great as well. Anyone else see this....just wanted to know your thoughts.

Dear lord, insanely brutal headshots in this movie lol. It was kind of dumb. but I like Laurence Fishburne and Ethan Hawke, might wait for the rent but it wasnt too bad. 73/100

Ive been reading comic books since i was about 6 yrs old and havent quit.. Several comic series by Neil Gaiman: Sandman, HellBlazer (that new Keanu Reeves movie Constantine is from HellBlazer comic book), The Books of Magic (Constantine is in that too) and several others have always been the best stories and amazing art.. I picked up a novel by him called American Gods, and it is one twisted freak book!!!! It is a must read, after i finish it im gonna get the other one he wrote called Neverwhere.. I hope that Constantine movie is good, cause the comic book HellBlazer is very cool..

Although I'm too young to have seen the majority of his shows, I still think he was a great commedian and late night host. I think he'll be truly missed.

Even though it got good reviews...I still think it was underrated. I think Keanu Reeves is wretched for the most part, but he fit his character well in this flick. Gary Oldman? Greatness. Always. The story? A classic! Scary as can be, tragic, a love story! I thought the monster was VERY scary, the effects were terrific, and the screen adaptation of the book left none of the important "human" elements out! 5/5 stars.

Well this may be a bit tinged since I am in secret love with Jennifer Garner. We went last night to watch this and, both of us, are huge Garner fans. I mean, come on, she is hot, she can sing, she is hot, she make a lot of money, she is hot, she is a republican (not sure on this, just hopeful haha). Anyways, on with the review. It starts off very nice with a good, susenseful beginning. The movie covers the transition from Daredevil to Elektra as well. It has a decent plot, good acting and great fight scenes as well. The only negative is one of the end scenes for us, but I will not list any spoilers. Overall we loved it. We gave it an 86/100.

Anyone read it? Nearly done with it, but I am now side tracked into the Dark Tower series (just started it, the hardback revision of The Gunslinger). Anyone read these? Obviously don't want spoilers, but perhaps some conversation. Everthing's Eventual is a cool collection of stories with a forward for each one.

flat out not that good. 60/100 If you enjoy Phantom of the Opera, the actual stage musical (which I do)...then you can glean SOME enjoyment from this film...but if you don't enjoy musicals DO NOT go see this movie...you will be booooored! All in all the directing was over the top...the singing was exactly like the stage performance (only not live so it took away from some of the experience)..the acting was alright, nothing spectacular. 2 things that DID shine in the movie: 1) Minnie Driver as the diva...she was just plain funny. 2) the girl who played Christine...dear heavens was that girl attractive...and she's only 18...yeesh...

If you like good beats and some solid rapping, check these guys out. They are the force behind the success of Nelly and his group the St. Lunatics. In fact, if you have ever heard the St. Lunatics song Boom D Boom, this is what they are referring to by "the double B's" They are out of St. Louis and pretty cool guys from what I know of them. Check em out! You can even download there mix album! It is fully mastered, and sounds awesome. They even have 2 songs from one of their members project bands, ProjectSted-Fast. Just saw this movie and have to say i def liked it. Def some very freaky parts in it and some disturbing things also. A few things still left me questioning things but all in all a good movie. I give it a 87/100

I read a bunch of reviews that said this movie was great and would be getting Oscar nods and be remembered for years to come as a great piece of film-making. So we went to check it out. It is a well done look at 2 guys and their trip through wine country in California and the trials, tribulations, and humorous incidents they happen upon. I thought the script was well done but the movie is about 60 minutes too long. It was enjoyable but not worth the money for the theatre and if it does get an Oscar nod then I will continue with my thoughts that those people are out of touch with American Society at large. Worth a rental for a slow night but that is about it. We gave it a 68/100

Very funny movie imo. I'm a huge Bill Murray fan and I think this is one of his best performances. I also love Owen Wilson and Willem Dafoe who both were very funny in this movie... Just thought I'd post my two cents, if you're a Murray fan you'll see this anyway lol

I love Will Ferrel. I think he is one of the funniest actors I have seen in awhile. So I rent this movie and get set to watch it with the wife last week. We could barely finish the movie. this movie stinks BAD! It is horrible. The acting is bad, the plot is ridiculous, the scripting is bad, etc.... The only thing worthwhile were the cameos and those were not all that great. If you are thinking about watching this, think long and hard... We gave it a 30/100

Spielberg Movie with Tom Cruise. Could be good or could be pure crap. I hope they do not ruin the original movie. Absolutely AMAZING. We loved this movie. The action scenes were excellent, the music was great, the humore had the entire theatre laughing many times. Just an all around great bloody action movie. Forget about the horrible trajedy of Blade 2, this one surpasses the first one easily and is well worth the money. Plus it has Jessica Beal who is super-duper hot!! The only downside was the crowd. Three people had cell phone conversations, the guy behind us did not have a mom I think since he chewed with his mouth open through the whole movie. The worst part was that there were at least 4 kids there under 10 years old. I truly think there should be some type of punishment for parents that bring such young kids to a movie like this. There were several very scary scenes as well as many scenes of killing and other psychological things that would never be good for a young person. I think the ages, from looking at them, were from 7-10.

We rented this last night, and I must say, it was pretty good. Being a French film, we were just waiting for the depressing ending. And, man, did we wait. We were both on the edge of our seats waiting to see if they would actually meet back up again. Pretty good plot, definitly doesn't give itself away. I liked it.
