  3. Ok, where's the saturday night live clip with, um, can't remember the guys name, but it's the one about MORE COW BELL....
  4. Im thinking of the Incredibles or National Treasure. Any other ideas? It will be me and the wifey, so something like "Saw" probably wont work out for us
  5. Just saw this tonight. I was very happy with this decision. It was an excellent movie. It has a great mix of comedy, some good theft scenes and the characters all mesh very well together. Wodoy Harrelson does a great job and Pierce Brosnan is his usual excellent self. Salma Hayak is unreal in her outfits and worth double the admittion price hehe. If you are looking for a fun movie, with some good laughs and a little suspense then this is the movie for you. It is a bit predictable but that does not ruin the viewing pleasure at all. We gave it an 85/100.
  6. Well it is almost upon the world. They have released the promo poster to go along with the movie. Bottom one is the real poster, above is mock-up. Thanks goes to Hood over at AIXGaming for finding this out. http://www.aixgaming.com , always updated with the latest and best news from movies to games. Stop by the forums if u have some time. 7. Do not waste your money. We had heard this was a great movie, a real story, and just a good football movie. It ended up being boring, not interesting and anti-climactic. The acting is ok, the plot is there but the story just sucks. The ending is a giant let-down as well. We gave it a 55/100
  8. Watch it now before the link dies and be sure to download it. If someone has the space to host the file, that would be great. http://www.worldofepic.net/ep3.mov
  9. I caught the Greenday Concert last night. It was awesome. New Found Glory and SugarCult opened up for them. It was so awesome. They played like every song on their new albums plus the old-time favourites. Guys this show rocked!. Haha they had a "making the band" thingy on stage, got a drummer, guitarist and bassist. The drummer and bass player were decent. Billie then calls up some girl who says she knows how to play guitar. Haha she was horrible, he ripped the guitar away from her and tossed her back into the audience. Hah then some other guy came up who really knew how to play. It was great. When they were done, Billie gave the kid the guitar he was playing. Awesome....if the show is coming near you guys, you should catch it.
  10. scared the bejezus out of me. i never get scared at movies, ever. but for once in a long time this movie freaked me. alot better movie than i expected too. i reccomend it. i actually like yelped at one part and freaked the people out in front of me even worse than they were already. check it out.... well worth the money.
  11. I loved this movie. If you have not already heard of it, it is directed and produced by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of South Park, and contains similar crude humor, except on a not-for-television scale. Marionettes are used instead of real actors; it's done in the style of the 60's British television show "Thunderbirds", which gives it an appopriately cheesy feel. Extremely crude, violent, scathing, and sarcastic. Most importantly, it's the funniest movie I have seen this year. Nobody is spared from ridicule in this movie: A hotdog wielding Micheal Moore becomes a suicide bomber, Hollywood actors are suckered into helping terrorists, and Team America blows up everything from people to world-famous monuments in their pursuit of justice. If you are easily offended, this is not your movie. Lots of blood and guts, really disturbing marionette sex, and the f-word is used in both the theme song and every other sentence. Definitely the funniest (if not best) movie I have seen all year. 95/100
  12. Anyone ever heard of him? A friend of mine showed me his Madrigals DVD about a month or so ago...and I have been HOOKED on the music from that show since then. At first he just seems like another one of those acoustic guitar playing guys that have flooded the market these last few years...and I'll be honest, of his normal cd's that I've heard, that's what he IS if those are the only cd's you hear. But what got him famous (or near famous actually) were his live shows. In which he sits up on stage with his acoustic guitar, himself, and several effects pedals and looping machines. He then proceeds to play a little bit of a song and record it on a looping device, then he loops that piece and plays another and records it, then loops them both and plays a 3rd and records it, then loops all 3 and uses an effects pedal to turn his guitar to a bass and plays a bass part, records and loops again, then hits his guitar in a multitude of ways to make a drum-like beat, records...loops...Then sings a piece, records...loops. Then cuts out one of the first 6 pieces, sings another and plays another, records...loops...etc. you get the point. Anyway...on this Madrigals DVD...his songs have such a grand sound to them since they just build and build and build. And at the end of the song it's hard to imagine that everything you're hearing was done by one guy and a guitar...he has no technicians doing the recording and looping...he does it all on his own while playing. So like I said, his cd's aren't that great generally...but his Madrigals EP has 2 songs from the Madrigals DVD that are live. The other 3 songs on the EP were played at the time the DVD was recorded, but the songs on the EP are the non-live versions...they were done in studio. Anyway, check it out here. And please don't share that link as I have a limited amount of bandwidth...but I just wanted to share this with you guys. Listen first of all to the song called "Bunnies" (don't ask me about the name, I don't get it) then to the song called "Sorry, so sorry." tell me what you think.
  13. Can't decide which scary movie to see as my time is limited nowadays but I love scary movies.
  14. Ok now I'm P.O'd The funniest show since seinfeld on reg TV and its cancelled why CHARMED gets to continue on leaves me BEHOOVED. I HATE TV! Uncle Eddie RULES! I HATE WB! REBA SUCKS! 7th heaven sucks!!! Everwood and DAWSONS CREEK ALL CRAP!!!! Grounded for life was a frikin funny show
  15. I wasn't sure what type of movie I wanted to watch. Then I saw that Monet Mazur was in Torque so I got it since she is pretty hot and hopefully worth the time. This movie stars Ice Cube, Monet and some other guys. It actually started out pretty good. The bike scenes were very nice and the fight scenes were also pretty good. The girls were sexy and the testosterone levels were up. Then they get a bit...well, Hokey is the best work for it. First they take these sweet crotch-rocket bikes through a bunch of sand trails at 80-100mph. Then later on they race through trees at the same speeds over branches and crap then to really top it off they jump two bikes on top of a moving train. Well I was chuckling at all of that and the ensuing scenes. Then it picked up a bit again and I got interested. Then the final chase scene was WAY out of control and even worse than the train scene. And the girls fighting it out was almost as bad. If you are looking for a good biker movie that has some good moments and some really hokey parts then this is the ticket...and some hot chicks. I gave it a 74/100.
  16. I kinda liked it. I went into it with an open mind (which I almost always do), Kutcher actually does a pretty good job. The story was bordering on hokey, but it was still kinda cool if you are able to suspend disbelief...the ending gave me kinda a sad wierd feeling, but it was cool. 78/100
  17. Anyone have any reviews / comments on this? I am going to watch it with my parents and siblings when I go home next weekend. My Step-father is a Firefighter and a big firefighter buff. When he visits me we always have to go around taking pictures of fire fighters houses and the trucks and he has to meet everyone who works there.
  18. Anyone seen this movie. some documentary (comedy) on some guy who pledges to eat at mcdonalds for like 40 days (breakfast, lunch and dinner). He gains like 300 pounds and his cholestorol goes off the charts... his doctors are begging him not to eat at mcdonalds anymore... he becomes an addict... I've got to rent this movie. Auggy

    Inuyasha

Anyone like that anime at all? Inuyasha. It is really good I think. Got into it by accident some time ago and found it to be funny and quite action packed with a great story and am now hooked on it.
  20. I just saw these guys in concert tonight. WOW - what an amazing, uplifting experience. If you ever get the chance and are a christian then you need to go see these guys in concert.!!!!!
  21. yep, went to see it opening weekend. thoroughly enjoyed it. as "inspirational high school football" movies go...it was good. wasn't as funny as Varsity Blues, wasn't QUITE as uplifting as Remember the Titans...but it was still very good. Definatly worth seeing in the theatre too. I'd give it an 85/100

    "The Shield"

Wow. I started getting into this show this past season and never really saw past episodes or seasons. This is by far the best copy show/drama on TV period and it is on FX. Right now they are playing previous seasons on FX at 12am on Sunday nights and last nights episode just blew my mind. WOW. Anyone else watch this show? It is a very adult show.
  23. Saw this last night. It was enjoyable enough but not super-funny at all. There are some very hokey moments and some unbelievable things that happen throughout the movie. It did have some good moments thought. The saving factor is the bad girls. They are four super-hot girls that saved the movie for us. I swear the main bad girls legs are 5-feet long and perfect haha. Anyways - I would save your money and rent it instead of spend the theatre rate on it. We gave it a 77/100 - It would have been in the mid-60's without the hot girls.
  24. Does anyone watch "Da Ali G show". My buddies were talking about it this weekend and it sounds hilarious. I'm going to watch my first episode on thursday. Has anyone seen it?
