3.5/4 stars This movie was basically more of the same. Many people said it was hard to follow, but if you know the other 2 stories well and pay close attention, following the movie is quite simple. The twists were predictable mainly because everybody is betraying each other the entire movie (once again more of the same). Yet, more of the same is just what I wanted from this movie. The humor was great and the special effects were very well done. By The Way: STAY AFTER THE CREDITS FOR AN EXTRA SCENE!!!!!!

There's some odd stuff going on this season, like that show about the Geico caveman, and "The Sarah Connor Chronicles." What do you guys think?

3.5/4 28 Weeks was a lot better than 28 Days Later. The opening scene was the most intense part, but the movie never really slowed down. If you like zombie movies, be sure to check this one out. I think it even ranks as my 2nd favorite zombie movie after Dawn of the Dead.

Who's seeing it this Friday? I know I am! I can't wait. Make sure you DON'T go see it around the busiest times (6pm-8pm). You may have trouble getting tickets. I'll post my review Friday night.

Anyone else watching this show? I got hooked on it a while back and I think it's great, and has possibly the best premise ever for a sit-com.

Saw Hot Fuzz this weekend. It's by the same people as Shaun of the Dead and boy oh boy was it funny. The first 3/4ths of the movie is entertaining and funny and would easily have gotten a 3.5 out of 5 from me...but then the last quarter of the movie just turns it ON. Definitely a 4.5 out of 5. The only reason it doesn't get that last .5 is because only 1/4th of the movie is truly great...but don't get me wrong...the rest of the movie is worth seeing but the last 1/4th of the film is truly awe inspiring absurd greatness that may go down as one of the funniest and most absurd pieces of film making of all time. I was quite literally crying because I was laughing so hard. I highly encourage you to go check this film out. p.s. It is absolutely a violent film, just like Shaun of the Dead, but its violence is so over the top that it is hard to take it seriously. However, if you can't handle blood, don't go see this film. If you can handle comedic spouts of bright red blood...you'll love this movie.

I saw it and was somewhat disapointed with it..... the beginning was Hilarious though. Apparently there are like 10 different endings to the movie, anyone else see it? *Spoilers Below* It's ATHF.... there are no spoilers

what's good that you've seen or want to see on dvd? i just saw and highly recommend harsh times, especially if you liked how training day was done. really good suspense and action. we almost shut it off after 15 minutes, but it ramped up really good. violence and sexual content, so not one for the kids. 8.5/10

Season premier was tonight. Probably my favorite of favorite shows. I can't say that I like it more than Heroes and BSG but it is at the top of my list of alternative shows (not sci-fi). I like it more than 24.

Okay so the past few episodes HAVE BEEN AMAZING.... first Muhinder finds out that zane.. well not the real zane, is Sylar, but he breaks free! =O Then we got this whole Parkmen going a bit evil thing... i just hope he doesn't continue down that path.... Niki is basically out of control completely, DL is falling for it. Ando and Hiro just teleported to the future and see they still havent stopped the bomb. Ted is out of control and had to be tranquilized by Claire, i don't believe they showed what happened to him after that. Claire is on the run with the Haitian, but she tries to ditch him and then go to Peter's. Peter's mom is there waiting... and she's friends with the Haitian, as well she knows the truth about EVERYTHING (can't wait to see this unraval) Peter..... i actually can't remember what's going on with him. Issac Mendez is working for Mr. Bennett and the company now!... so we are to believe. Nathan was almost assassinated by Jessica (Niki's other side/sister... which is still a mystery on how her power unfolds) and he is now... oh! he accepts the deal with Linderman to not kill him and he'll be president basically (so linderman says). Sylar i think killed Muhinder... we don't know yet, OH! Peter goes to fight Sylar! that's where peter is. Sylar was just openning Peter's head.. There's a new person working for the "Corporation" and she can make ... i guess hallucinations, or alter the reality you see... as well as herself. Mr. Bennett (Claire's dad) was found out by the "Corporation" and is being "held" by them. Parkman is being "held" by the "Corporation" as well, and they are exploiting his powers to get information out of people... they won't let him go yet. ****Other Information!**** We see that Hiro's father is head of the "Corporation" or atleast high up. So i assume the "Corporation" is Yamagato (or whatever the name of their business is). The invisible man use to work for them and was found out by them for hiding a "hero" so he was ordered to be killed. Mr. Bennett tried to kill him, but he got away without him knowing. The Haitian is not just involved with the company, he is also involved with people like Peter's mom.. but she might have ties to the company. Mrs. Bennett might be in danger seeing as the company knows now that she wasn't "erased of memory" Muhinder was able to abstract some spinal fluid from Sylar and found out the key to everything in his DNA. So now he can compile a list of EVERY hero... assuming he lives through the trouble right now. Peter has somewhat grasped the control of his powers, but still has to work on it, while Sylar has had practice with all of his besides his new super hearing. Nathan was trying to bring down Linderman ever since their dad died. Been working with the FBI and hadn't told anyone.. but those 2 FBI Agents are now dead. Parkman's wife is pregnant and he is missing, wonder how that'll turn out. The picture Issac drew of Hiro fighting a dinosaur has to come true sometime... probably really soon. What about that one chick who could do anything with computers blah blah blah?

Yeah M2 I've been catching it (though I watch it on Tuesday off the DVR). So far it's got great potential. I LOVE a good tragic character and Tommy Donnelly is definitely tragic.

I heard this movie got some bad reviews... anyone see it yet and want to put in their two cents?

Simply.. wow. This movie gets a 9/10 by me. Chris Gardner, the real man, is simply ... wow. His story of conviction and perseverance is something i would have just given up on. Constantly i'm on the edge of my seat thinking: Where will they sleep next? what's going to happen now?!! I knew as soon as he did that rubik's cube, i was in for something beautiful. i'm going to leave it open for others to add more, but i cried at the end... theres only been a few other movies i have EVER cried from, but watching this movie last night made me cry. As soon as they called him into their office, i was so overwhelmed with joy, and empathy that i cried...

Rainn Wilson, the genius who plays "Dwight" in the North American version of "The Office" will be hosting SNL this weekend. :luxhello: *this entire topic will contain spoilers* I was literally jumping up off my couch cheering at the tv last night. This show started out just ok, then by episode 4 got awesome...then got too convoluted but last nights episode brought out the child in me. As soon as Peter blocked the stick with his mind I was freaking out. Also I actually LIKE HRG (Horn Rimmed Glasses, i.e. Claire's dad) and thought this was a great episode for him because it took him away from being a mustache twirling bad-guy to at least going a little deeper. I CANNOT WAIT for next weeks episode...I wanna see Peter go all hardcore on Sylar. Is it just me or are they basically making Sylar and Peter out to be nemesis with similar powers but with a different take. Sylar takes peoples powers by killing them...Peter takes their powers (but leaves them with their power) by getting to know them. They are absolutely going to have a clash by the end of the season and it's going to be AWESOME!

This thread is for recommending films that you know people probably haven't seen. Whether they're just really old or they are relatively unknown or just got bad reviews but didn't deserve it. My first recommendation would have to be Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War. You can find my post about it in this forum. for a comedy I'd recommend Mystery Men (I'm still amazed at how many people have never heard of this movie). It's the only Ben Stiller movie I actually enjoy. It's stupidly hilarious.
