mrX December 20, 2002 Share mrX GC Alumni December 20, 2002 Just got a new comp fairly recently and it came with a 120gb hard drive. Looked and saw that I have about 100gb free on it. I'm sure that'll shrink soon enough, but I would like to try something. I know I've heard some of you talking about dual booting a windows and linux system. Are there any good websites that you used to explain this process? Or did you just follow what's with the Linux materials? My thoughts are to do a clean sweep and partition the drive up some, then possibly boot from 2 diff partitions. I've not formatted yet since I got the thing. Also, could you triple boot, say using xp/win98/linux? Any suggestions or research aides would be appreciated. EDIT: Oops, shoulda posted this in servers, admins, and clients forum. Please move if necessary.
