I was in your server, playing like normal, having a good time. Last round, so I buy this gun in this clan (which has a few members on the server) an auto sniper. I rush with a tmp to dd's (its aztec) and I goto jump up on the blocks before the doors to jump up on the ledge, and I get shot from behind... once... twice.... thrice... I ask why, and I get "it seemed like the thing to do". I'm particularly tinkled, as I just did something nice for this guys' buddy, and he deagles me down to 20 hp.

 

Next round. I buy a deagle, and shoot him down to 20 hp. Twice. Everyone in that clan cries, calls me a rag, whiner, cry baby, etc. for doing this. Someone in said clan asks console to kick me. So it is. Kicked and banned. That's okay. I don't want back in a server that lets malicious tw's slip and revenge tw's be punished. You ho right ahead letting that tinkleant clan team wound up your server, and then keep on banning people who tw them in return.

 

These guys are not even the clan that runs the server, just a clan that decided to inhabit the server (possibly regs, I don't know).

 

If you let this kind of behaviour, with this kind of punishment for the victim continue, you're going to have one bully clan using your server, and no other regs because they're sick of getting shot by teammates.

 

BTW, I'm not stupid. I noticed this same guy has been periodically tw'ing the entire game. Of course, when he was shooting at enemies.

 

Even when enemies are nowhere in sight.

 

 

 

 

So yeah, you guys can take your hypocrisy and shove it. I want no part of a server with deluded rules and idiotic punishment. You can keep your polite rules and team wounding regs.

first Illuminaughty, did you inform an admin that this was happening? Did you let one know that you were being purposely FF'd and Tked? If not, then you have no one but yourself to blame here. You retaliated with FF which we also do not tolerate on our servers. It sounds to me like you did not complain, but he did. So you got banned.

 

So unless you are here to ask to be unbanned and apoligize for your behavior, i see no sense in letting this argument continue. You were wrong for retaliating and not reporting the Tking. You were wrong again for coming in here and whining and pulling an attitude and not apoligizing.

You only have to scan that block of "says" to know that this guy should have been gone long ago.

 

At first I was kinda thinking...hmmm, Sid, tattling.....

 

Now I have to thank you, Sid. You've done the community a real service by pushing for his removal.

I was just trying to avoid a non-admin vs non-admin argument here.

I guess this can kinda be my fault, i banned him once, and then was too quick to unban him, I started reading some of his posts after I unbanned him and immediately regreted my decision.

 

I guess we don't always have to be so quick to be forgiving, next time if I am unsure, I'll let it sit and fester for a while before I make the call.

Reactions? I'm surprised that it took this long to get a ban on this guy. You guys usually seem right on top of things. what also surprises me, from what I can gather from the logs, is that he gets people into arguments about punitive actions...On many occasions. Again, I don't play much CS, but when I do its with y'all because you rock and have such strict language filters, etc. However, it seems common for pubbers to assume the "be nice to others" rule is not only negotiable but suspendable at will.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing admins being more prone to kick and having the stock response be, "post up in the message boards." (1) the policies are NOT up for debate (at least from us pubbers) and (2) the forum for debate or whining about the filters is NOT in-game. Fatty, I am also surprised he's been on this long looking at the logs...but I'm also surprised at a seemingly pretty high level of tolerance for pubbers who knock the swear filters. I know the admins are doing other things, and may miss a few lines here and there, but it looks like there is an occasional, though brief, reminder that the swear filter exists, so deal with it. I say, kick or ban and let them hit the forums. If they didn't figure it out when they tried to say stuff, admins don't need to babysit them.

We do have console messages similar to what your talking about, the biggest problem is that you become so used to seeing them, that you begin to not pay attention. The only way to get someones attention via the console, is to spam your message like 10 times so it fills up the screen.

Dood I was going to say, but then I saw the second post. Lol your welcome Fatty just giving back a little to the community after recieving so much. I usually just let the admins handle things but no one was there, hence the screen shots. Normally I wouldn't make a fuss, but I know people have had problems with him before and there was even that incident between me and his "girl friend". Any way we are rid of him now. Keep on pubbin guys!!!
