Guest zerodamage August 22, 2005 Share Guest zerodamage Guests August 22, 2005 You definately should get the 16 pipelines if you can afford cost differences, my 6800gt has 16, I"m not sure about the 6600 series, but I'd hazard a guess it's probably only 12. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 8 Pipes with 128-bit memory bus I believe. TheReverend(c) August 26, 2005 Share TheReverend(c) Member August 26, 2005 I have the 9800xt myself. Plays HL2 and Doom3 great. CSS, no probelms. Why spend more if you dont have to.
Dingy September 8, 2005 Share Dingy Member September 8, 2005 If anyone happens to be interested (contact me offline)..... I just upgraded and have an 8 month old XFX AGP 6600GT with 128MB DDR3 memory. It has 2 DVI and SVideo out. Since I upgraded to a MB with PCIE, I can't use it. So, it's on the block. I havevn't had any problems with it, and the heat sink is still secure - so you shouldn't have any probelms. Thanks!
