*BiGBonES** November 8, 2005 Share *BiGBonES** Member November 8, 2005 (edited) Right guys, a friend of mine has just bought call of duty 2 and is having problems with it. He's getting incredibly bad fps, with all his settings on low, and even in a 640x480 resolution. His comp specs are: 3.0 ghz, 1ghz ram,ati 9800 XT which should run the game with no problems. He's tried all the basics, like updating windows, spyware + virus scans, updating drivers, reinstalling the game etc. The problem also happened with the demo What else is there to do? *BiGBonES** November 8, 2005 Author Share *BiGBonES** Member November 8, 2005 K just if anyone else needs a fix, firstly switching from Dx9 to Dx7 made the game run a lot smoother. Then, thanks to voodoo's guide, turning AA off made the game run perfectly.

Cujo December 9, 2005 Share Cujo Member December 9, 2005 lol turning off aa made it smoother. of course it did. that should be the first thing to try. when you said tried on low settings i assumed aa was off but clearly not.
JackieChan December 10, 2005 Share JackieChan GC Alumni December 10, 2005 Odd, I didn't have any problems running that game... I'd say most likely the video card or something, but since the problem is fixed via DX7, I won't bother with anything.
