You need to delete it using fdisk or boot into the XP setup disk and delete the partition.

Easiest thing is to dig up a Windows 98 boot disk and boot it up. Type "fdisk" at the prompt, and follow the 'menus' to delete all the partitions. You can then repartition with fdisk if you want, or just use the Windows installation CD.

 

PS:

Let me know if you want a Windows 98 boot disk image, I'll make one that you can burn onto a CD with Alcohol or Nero/Roxio. You can probably find one on the internet somewhere too, but usually these are for floppies.
