Bubblegum Bandit December 5, 2005 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member December 5, 2005 Any of you guys tried this? I have home movies that I want to burn to a DVD and send them out to family. But I thought it would be nice to burn some data on the end of the DVD....In other words, burn my movie to the DVD and then burn a bunch of pictures to it too. I don't want the pictures in the movie. I want my family to be able to put the DVD in their DVD player or computer and watch the movie if they want, but I also want them to be able to explore the DVD in their computer and be able to pull jpg files off of it as well. I figure if I'm going DL I might as well fill them up. Anyone tried this? Will most software do this or am I asking too much?
gOOters December 5, 2005 Share gOOters Member December 5, 2005 All I can offer is that most DVD players will show .jpegs as a slideshow. Maybe Nero can do something like what you are talking about?
appalachian_fox December 5, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member December 5, 2005 Well, they do have those hybrid discs that play in DVD players and on computers, where you have access to additional content on the computer. I don't know anything about how they do it, but I know commercially it's feasible.

appalachian_fox December 5, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member December 5, 2005 I found this on Google during some downtime today: http://www.mmbforums.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=72644& It's not really explicit but gives a rough idea of how to do it in Nero. I'd definitely try one first to see if it coasters.
