NOFX December 30, 2005 Share NOFX Member December 30, 2005 well I have completely changed my mind a big 180... I was thinkin about a 6800GS and a 3700+, well that has now turned into a 7800GT and a 3200+. I play battlefield 2 and the difference between the two processors is 1 FPS. especially when you OC that 3200+ to 2.5Ghz, it should work smooth.... Ruff_Ryder December 31, 2005 Share Ruff_Ryder Member December 31, 2005 I use a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 mb card and it works great.
Kruten December 31, 2005 Share Kruten Member December 31, 2005 I stand by what I said above. Getting the X800 or 6800 series of video card would be a waste of money at this point. Not if you want a system to last you a few years and play all the games you want. ATI has new stuff planned next month and Nvidia soon as well. These new cards will be 2 generations newer than those mentioned and linked by Rev above. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Same here, but we've been waiting a few days for something to be said.
