YoMamma February 21, 2006 Author Share YoMamma Member February 21, 2006 After finally seeing all of the nominations I would rank them: 1. Brokeback Mountain 2. Munich 3. Capote 4. Crash 5. Good Night, and Good Luck Unlike last year, I felt that every one of these nominations were great movies.
YoMamma March 6, 2006 Author Share YoMamma Member March 6, 2006 Crash won best picture this year. That was unexpected, but it was a good movie so it deserves it.
lazarus March 6, 2006 Share lazarus Member March 6, 2006 i was dissappointed in the best picture winner. it was good but not as good as some of the others. it was the same for me, this year i actually saw all the best picture nominees and they all were good. my order would have been: 1. brokeback mountain 2. capote 3. crash 4. goodnight and good luck 5. munich
Allanon March 6, 2006 Share Allanon Member March 6, 2006 Serenity should have been at least nominated I personally have seen almost all of those, and I just didn't like them. No sci-fi or fantasy movies nominated, the world's coming to an end!

YoMamma March 8, 2006 Author Share YoMamma Member March 8, 2006 I am still shocked King Kong won some awards - what a horrible, horrible movie! I cannot believe it beat out War of the Worlds for Visual Effects. I guess it's because of the amazing animation on Kong. Besides that, I thought War of the Worlds had much better visual effects.
