Bubblegum Bandit April 17, 2006 Share Bubblegum Bandit Member April 17, 2006 You're just going to make a slurry? No aggregate? Curious as to why if I might ask. As far as how much water, no clue, whatever the bag suggests I guess. Never dealt with mixing portland w/o aggregate unless I was laying brick or something. appalachian_fox April 17, 2006 Share appalachian_fox Member April 17, 2006 MONKEYS!!! Lots of monkeys. With shovels and bags of cement. Sorry, wanted to contribute nothing to the ratio question myself. *trolls*
Clueless April 20, 2006 Share Clueless GC Alumni April 20, 2006 Depends on how big the sidewalk is, if its pretty big, go with sheps suggestion and have it delivered, you will never be able to mix fast enough to keep the job rolling. If its small, then rent a mixer or you can do it in a wheelbarrow with a mixing hoe. (No girlfriend mixing the cement jokes, lol)
Lord Chip Douglas April 21, 2006 Share Lord Chip Douglas Member April 21, 2006 Seriously, it's called concrete. Cement is part of the mix, but a sidewalk made of only cement would turn to dust after a couple years.
