Think about it.. they really don't lose either. The companies that do this are obviously making good money. So they will buy another account, and level a rogue/hunter/etc to 60 in less then 1 week and begin farming again. So basically they lost a weeks worth of progress and a lot of gold. At least Blizzard is trying I guess, although it takes them over 3 or 4 months to ban a player.

Blizzard has a habit of being bvad with their bannings and such they do so at random intervals and with no consistency. Wouldn't suprise me in the least that 59,000 is less the half the farmers. I botted in D2 forever then got banned and just started again and didnt ever get caught till i just quit the game. Blizz has a few things to still figure out and its stuff that shoulda been figured out long ago if you ask me.
