I got a few replacement parts (keyboard, almost bought a new LCD/inverter, hinge covers, some small stuff) for an ancient laptop off of eBay. No guarantees, but I never found a price I could turn down when I found what I want...well, except on the LCDs and inverters. Those got expensive.
