Chimei is actually the company that makes pretty much every 22" lcd you see on the market. Acer, Scepter, Viewsonic, Samsung, Chimei. All of those use the same LCD which is produced by this company. So basically this is basically the same monitor. The differences are in the casing, where the buttons are, the actual companies tech support, etc. For reference sake the first generation of Sceptre monitors using this lcd were known to have crappy DVI ports. I remember back when I had an HP monitor I wanted to sell to a friend who went out and spent twice as much on a sony true-flat.
