mookie November 29, 2007 Share mookie GC Alumni November 29, 2007 OK I'd like to try a new idea for setting the map cycle on the server. This will be a simple ranking poll just like for many sports. Maybe it'll work or maybe everyone will get bored with it after a week. This will be for the cycle running from 5pm to 1am central. Rules: * Each person is allowed one and only one reply to a poll thread. If you want to start a discussion, make a thread. * You can edit your own votes as much as you want. Votes will be counted the night before the date of the poll. * List twelve maps, starting with the one you'd most like to see played. Your first vote counts as twelve points; your twelfth vote counts as one point. * You can't vote for more than twelve maps, or declare a tie for any place. * If you vote for less than twelve maps, your votes will still be counted down from twelve. You can't vote for the same map twice. * Some maps will have multiple versions but be counted as the same map. Whichever version has the most votes (regardless of points) will represent that map. Maps that count as versions of the same map: cs_office, cs_office_extended de_dust2, de_dust2_unlimited de_inferno, de_inferno_pro Example with four votes only: cs_office_extended 4, de_train 3, de_inferno 2, de_dust2 1 de_inferno_pro 4, de_tides 3, de_dust2_unlimited 2, cs_office 1 de_tides 4, de_dust2_unlimited 3, de_dust2 0, cs_office 2 7 (4+2+1) cs_office (2 cs_office, 1 cs_office_extended) 7 (4+3) de_tides 6 (4+2) de_inferno_pro (1 de_inferno, 1 de_inferno_pro) 6 (3+2+1) de_dust2_unlimited (2 de_dust2_unlimited, 1 de_dust2) 3 de_train cs_office, de_tides, de_inferno_pro, de_dust2_unlimited would be the winners.
