    I just got this game as part of the steam summer sale. How do I go about joining the GC server? When I click on "online" -- I only see map names. There is no server browser. Thanks.

    Since there is a 5$ special for CS this weekend, we have had a lot of new people coming in. Last night, when I was playing, around half the players were new and we got the server maxed out at 20 players. If we are going to do events, we should do it soon so these new players will know that *this* is the server to play on. In order words, get them addicted while they're young and naive!

Plus there's lots you need to learn to play effectively, but still a lot of noobs to take advantage of too...it's great! check out the group -- there are still people playing (namely me)

    Hello, I am looking to buy a telelvision and was wondering if a response time of 6ms matters. My monitor at home has response time of 2ms and I do not experience blurring or ghosting. However, with a 6ms, will this occur? Is there a magic number I should be aiming for? Thanks

    can we up to this 6 per team? currently, retro is consistently empty and I tried logging in the other day to get it started but playing with only 2 players on each team (me + bot vs 2 bots) is not as fun as it would have been play 6v6 or 8v8 thanks

    It doesn't matter with plasmas as their display method differs from LCDs in a way that doesn't cause the motion blur associated with LCDs. Motion Blur (thanks to Ruff_Ryder for the good link) how come when i buy LCD computer monitors, they do not advertise the refresh rate, but just the response time?

    when it comes to LCDs, does Hz even matter? i thought it was always ms that matters; can somebody explain?
