Any idea how to fix that? I'm running vista. Do you just get a blank page or does it tell you that you can not connect? I'm assuming you can play games fine and get to google (or equivalent) using your favorite browser? Other than trying to reinstall Steam, updating Flash might be the root of your problem. MrDuke September 4, 2008 Share MrDuke Member September 4, 2008 I had a "failure to connect" problem like what you described. The recommended fix is to delete the steambrowser.dll file from your bin folder. When you restart Steam it will regenerate the file and you should be good to go. That or a firewall problem.
