Laz.e.rus January 12, 2009 Share Laz.e.rus Member January 12, 2009 What do you recommend? Ive looked at quite a few from a $289 samsung 24" to a HannsG 28". Gaming fun with some movie watching primarily. 1900x1200 (not looking to be limited to 1900 x 1080 unlesss there is a reason for it) Thanks! NOFX January 12, 2009 Share NOFX Member January 12, 2009 I've been using the Hanns-G for a little over a year, its huge and I love it, but If I could do it over again with the current prices, I would pick this up.. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/product...&lid=197378 After using the 28 for long, I can tell that I can still step it up a notch or two, but I believe 37 would be just to big.. but I guess it all depends on how far back you sit. Preacher January 12, 2009 Share Preacher Member January 12, 2009 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824001309 is probably the best solution for the lowest price, but that 28" Hanns-G is very nice. I was contemplating that 28" but went with a Dynex 32" from Best Buy and it works fantastic. It isn't as high a resolution but is very nice for movies. mohawk January 12, 2009 Share mohawk Member January 12, 2009 (edited) Either the one Preacher linked.. or the T240 or T260 (Samsung's 26"'er) both look good imo.. If you want HD, check out the T260HD Keep an eye on your pixel size... especially if you go bigger then 26". I bought a 32" LCD (1300 x 780 or whatever) with the intention of gaming on it, but it was way to grainy. I'm contemplating going from my samsung 22" to either the 24" or 26". The pixel size for 1600x1050 at 22" is the same (.002 difference or something) as 1900x1200 at 26" (24" would even be smaller) Edited January 12, 2009 by mohawk
