bushwack March 7, 2009 Share bushwack Member March 7, 2009 I thought my net always been capped at 6mb but when I was downloading the UT3 pack I noticed I was above 1100k for a bit, so I ran speedtest. It wasn't long ago I ran this test and it was 6mb like it has been for years. They must have upgraded my neighborhood and I wonder if they are gonna upgrade my bill. Last year they tried to get me to get the Gamer package that upgraded my 6mb to 8mb for another 10 bucks but I passed. Or are they just keeping up with the times? 14mb seems awesome but to tell you the truth I never noticed the change unless it just happened today. Laz.e.rus March 7, 2009 Share Laz.e.rus Member March 7, 2009 I dunno who your ISP is, but Broadstripe (for one) is in the process of upgrading all of their 4mb and 6mb customers nationwide to 15mb free of charge. Its an automatic upgrade that you get as soon as the work is finished. Im scheduled for this fall sometime...bummer.

Nice connection. They could have kept mine the same and lowered my $43 bill instead.
