boiler March 19, 2009 Share boiler Member March 19, 2009 New Resident Evil titles coming to Wii! Along with this news, the publisher announced a line of Resident Evil "Classics" that will bring the GameCube games Resident Evil (the remake) and Resident Evil Zero to Wii. The Classics will set you back $30. Both should arrive this year. As with Resident Evil 4, these ports will be outfitted with Wii pointer controls. A chance to play the original RE with Wii controls??
Unclean March 19, 2009 Share Unclean Member March 19, 2009 I'd play 'em if they were cheaper. $30? Seems a bit high. But I loved the original - especially the horrible scripting. I still remember some lines from it. Jill: What's this? Barry: It's a WEAPON! It's really powerful, especially against living things! Barry: Stay away from the door, Jill. I'm going to kick this door down! (I liked to add "with my door kicking shoes!")
anonymo March 23, 2009 Share anonymo Member March 23, 2009 How the heck are they going to make use of the Wii controls on RE1? Though my Wii purchase may have just been sealed.

I'm going to spend the $30 just to see how they pull it off. RE4's controls were darn near perfection on the Wii (on the RE scale, mind you). ZeroDamage March 23, 2009 Share ZeroDamage Member March 23, 2009 I looked on the Playstation Store and they do not have any of the old Resident Evils. Kind of disappointed considering RE was born on the PS.
