Out of control

I work at Rackspace, it is a cool place with fun people etc... this is a perfect example:

 

I drew a picture of me (really poor outline) on a rolling whiteboard and put it by my desk to "pretend" I was here so when my manager looked over he would see it instead of me as a joke.

 

Well, I left for lunch... by the time I got back a co-worker had re-drawn it (extremely well) and then made a cafepress site and sent out links so people could buy shirts and mugs and what not.

Apparently people (friends and co-workers) are actually buying them too. Amazing how fast things get out of control around here.

 

I am on the product team though, it is our job to design and build products. I guess this is just a side effect of being good at what we do hah.

We have a mario wall and a space invaders wall, a couple of arcade games (street fighter etc). As a team project we are going to build a MAME rig :-D

 

It is no googleplex but it is pretty cool.

Really? I noticed it immediately since Hitchcock is my favorite movie director! It looked like Hitchcock with a baseball cap to me.
