I'm getting randomly timed crashes with my video card driver. Windows is calling it "Event 4101" with an event data of "amdkmdap".

amertrash had been helping me get it solved last night, but we didn't have any luck. Tried removing drivers and reinstalling, tried using older drivers, reinstalled windows this morning and still doing it. Have tried several google suggestion with no luck either. Any ideas?

is it an ATI or nVidia card? I have had problems like that with ATI drivers . . . it's why I don't buy their cards anymore (despite the fact that the hardware is actually quite good).

on my old x850 XT, the only drives I could get to work were some beta drivers I found on the 'net for the card--thanks ATI. After having it for a while, new drivers worked fine, but only after a while. :shrug03:
