There is one improvement that could be made for L4D2 and that is, I think there should be a 'wait' command at beginning so that people cannot start until everone is ready. Many times, there have been Noobs who think they can rush it alone without waiting for people to load - so annoying. Apart from that, no other server comes close to this.

Yeah the best thing ive been able to do when im playing is just tell people to wait for everyone to load. I can always kick anyone who is a constant rusher, but ya know I'm not in there every day, stupid real life. Maybe Jackie can do something like this? Dunno.

Im here every day. I like to avoid real life whenever I can.

 

If I see someone that is an ongoing problem with rushing, I kick them. But I like to believe in democracy, and the game has a delightful votekick feature. Its too bad that some abuse this feature, and some players are more inclined to just press f1 to get that box out of the way.

 

And calling players noobs, generally not a good way to ingratiate yourself with them. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I like to think a 10v10 server is a place where newer players can mess up a few times without getting in too much trouble.

I think something like a 10 second wait period would be appropriate. Not long enough to be annoying, but long enough to let the majority of people load in.
