rumrunner September 7, 2012 Share rumrunner Member September 7, 2012 what are the basic rules for kicking players, can admin kick, or just .gc members stacking
Biggs September 7, 2012 Share Biggs GC Alumni September 7, 2012 Members can initiate a vote for their team to kick someone, this is allowed any time that the target is breaking rules (although it would be polite to try to warn the person in question first). Admins can kick anyone at their own discretion.
TheDude September 7, 2012 Share TheDude Member September 7, 2012 If someone is ban-worthy and there's an admin online, it's best not to kick him so the admin can take care of it.
rumrunner September 7, 2012 Author Share rumrunner Member September 7, 2012 so if message says kicked to make room for member, and ten or so non-members are playing who still desides
Lookback September 7, 2012 Share Lookback Member September 7, 2012 It is the most recent non-member to join that gets kicked.
Biggs September 7, 2012 Share Biggs GC Alumni September 7, 2012 That is an automatic kick that is programmed into the server, to have the most recently connected non-member booted. The decision to do it that way was made a few months ago by many members of the administration.
ValenAlvern September 7, 2012 Share ValenAlvern Member September 7, 2012 (edited) What you should kick for Break of the Rules as viewed in the Message of the Day (MotD(also its your first warning)), also assuming no Admin is IN the server Rushing Stacking (Joining team with most players or points via Spectator or !join abuse) Swearing Being Disrespectful to other Players Griefing Making room for Members Forgot that was dealt with. What you shouldnt kick for Someone not Spitting and Dying Someone who hasnt played long enough Someone who isnt skillful Edited September 7, 2012 by ValenAlvern

P4N1K September 11, 2012 Share P4N1K Member September 11, 2012 What about people blaming their team for losing and making everyone tinkled off? I've seen a few highly competitive players that just ruin the game becuase they try so hard.

ValenAlvern September 11, 2012 Share ValenAlvern Member September 11, 2012 (edited) What about people blaming their team for losing and making everyone tinkled off? I've seen a few highly competitive players that just ruin the game becuase they try so hard. These people need to understand that it's a game. Funny how some people lose track that games are entertainment, but when a video game has some sort of point system, if youre not on the winning team, youre not having fun. Do they do the same for board games? Monopoly, if they're not in control of most of the board are they no longer having fun? Sure fun is a very subjective word and we all have our own definition of the word. Why is winning important? Why is having more points in a team based game = fun? It would be cool if there was a plugin that doesnt add up points (or hides them) to see if those same people try to team stack...or if they try to team stack more if they feel like their on the losing team. EDIT: Easy to argue that the game is competitive, but the server doesnt run the base 4v4. Server runs a heavily modified 10v10 where you can get points for killing. 4v4 = Super Smash bros, Fox Only, No Items, Final Destination 10v10 + points/buy menu = Mario Kart they're too different Edited September 11, 2012 by ValenAlvern
