Flitterkill October 27, 2012 Share Flitterkill GC Board Member October 27, 2012 Friday afternoon someone decided to DDoS a server in Chicago @ nfoservers. It was so bad filtering wasn't enough. They nulled the IP of the server. We weren't the target but it borked servers nearby (for lack of a better word) We're back up. Anyone complaining about the server not being up to server admins were not only wasting their time but are also morons. The admins cant control these things all the time. And even if they could, it isnt their real job to make sure you have a place to play a game every minute of the day. They enjoy playing this game and they spend extra time making the server a good place for the rest of us to play. Being an admin many times means they can not play, or they have too much extra stuff to do instead of play. They dont need people cursing at them because the server is down.
