Lunk July 3, 2013 Share Lunk Member July 3, 2013 Has anyone tried playing GO on a MAC? Specifically a MacBook? Just wondering if it's worth my time to install it on mine. Just figured it's newer than my pc and was hoping I might get better results. Let's hear it.

akaM2 July 3, 2013 Share akaM2 Member July 3, 2013 I run it on a Macbook Air randomly. Nothing like a desktop but it handles a decent framerate. Depends how old your Macbook is

stutters July 12, 2013 Share stutters GC Alumni July 12, 2013 I run it on my MB Pro...occasionally. It plays fine. I've also run it on a slightly older model. If you're truly running a Mac Book (not Pro), it might not be that great, but still playable.
Coodie August 16, 2013 Share Coodie Member August 16, 2013 FWIW - I installed on my wife's Mid-2010 MacBook, and all low settings, runs like crap. Now, it could be because it only has 2GB RAM and the hard drive is almost full. I just bought a SSD and some more RAM to try out. I'll let you know if that helps when I get it installed.
