SuperJo September 16, 2002 Share SuperJo Member September 16, 2002 Ok I am trying to understand wat CAL and CPL are. CAL is for amateurs right. How good do u have to be to get into CAL? and MCC is just a league hostef by Mmmm right? How does the ranking go in difficulty of leagues? CPL then CAL then OGL? I've only played in one league and that was 2 vs 2 in OGL. Any info on how leagues work and stuff would be great.

Guest Mossad September 18, 2002 Share Guest Mossad Guests September 18, 2002 CAL www.caleague.com CPL www.thecpl.com CAL is an oline league that is broken down into 4 divisions for CS (open, intermediate, main, invite). There is also the draft but thats completely besides the point. CAL has well over 1000 teams in it in the various levels. The competition is really fierce and tons of fun. CAL is also an off shoot of the CPL for online events. CPL is an organiztation that is trying to promote gaming as a professional sport for the furture. The also hold a CPL event in Dallas 2 times a year where people come from all over the world to play CS. And there is some big money involved. The next CPL is Dec. 17-23. If ya live around there come visit meh at the cpl.
