Gond May 20, 2003 Share Gond Member May 20, 2003 What have you built? My biggest project has to be the basement I finished. The wife and I built the walls, ran all the wire, had a plumber do the bathroom and wet bar, we did all the drywall, mudding and taping and painted. It was a massive project. Next would have to be building a wooden deck. It was only 5ft max off the ground but was a challenge as this was my first project. I've also built a huge wooden planter box around said deck. I'll have to find some pics. Next project is the basement on my new house. This one is going smoother as I had the builder rough in the bathroom. My favorites were stripping the hardwood floor in my computer room and putting up trim in the kitchen to match the dining room. Putting up trim is a tough until you figure out the trick to doing it. Guest Shertown-Pimp May 20, 2003 Share Guest Shertown-Pimp Guests May 20, 2003 My mom owns you all put together, shes redone over 15 rooms in our 3 houses, put in a tile floor, carpet floor, redid an ENTIRE kitchen cabinet set( stripped all of them, stained all of them), redid 3 bathrooms, painted almost the entire house except for the high parts, shes good at that stuff though. We live on a rock quary and the beams had to be anchered 48 inches into the ground, we broke two backhoes, trying to dig the holes...
