Recomended power supply for X 850 XT = 350w Current power supply installed = 250w New power supply to pick up on the way home from work = 500w I think I found the problem! THANK-YOU CUJO!!!!!

Not enough power? Faulty power supply? I thought everything was good. ATI techies never mentioned that.

Okay, I've been having serious problems with my ATI X850 XT graphics card. I've had the card aprox. 2 months & small lags turned into small crashes, & finally into a very serious problem. After dealing with ATI on the issue they quickly sent out a replacement. It has had the same problems only much worse. Last night & the night before I almost blew my motherboard, trying to get it to work. I have gone through EVERYTHING in the past 2 weeks, it is definately the graphics card. Last night I put in an older series Nvidia card & she ran like a dream. The area that I need help is this; Has anyone had problems with the ATI X850 series cards? The 5.6 or 5.7 drivers? How is the X 850 XT PE? I know a lot of people have X 800 series cards, have you had any problems? Anyone playing with Nvidia GEforce 6600 or 6800 & have a comment? I need as much information as possible before 11:30AM est today so I can determine my approach to ATI on this matter. I need to make a quick decision on whether I get my money back, take a chance on another replacement or get a different series card. If anyone has ANY information they feel is relevant please post up ASAP!! Thank-You!! P.K. P.S. I need to have a new card by friday morning before I leave for FF05

I like the 12 player thing. If it's increased, maybe to 14 or 16. We already have 3, 27 man servers & I think the people that use this will be looking to break away from the crowds, try new things etc. I think this is really good for admins, some days I just don't know how they do it. This I think would be a welcome relief for them from all the constant babysitting. A place where they can enjoy the game too, without all the whining & profanity clean ups. KUDOS TO ADMINS!!!! Great job you guy's!

Never played on the private server. I think it would be a blast to hook up with just the guy's I know & play! Especially on a smaller server. 6 vs 6 or 7 vs 7 would be awsome! And the regular GC guy's tend to switch to even the teams up more readily, so the games would be more exciting. Also there seems to be some spinoff from MCC VII. [XX] & [EH?] being the first examples. I think this is a fantastic idea!

He has not done it again, guess he was angry. But it was really bad, and unnessisarily vocal. Lasted for a long time. Did anyone else hear him? I believe Pavid & Kilzugud were on at the same time.

I've heard a lot people saying 9800xt & x800 are awsome for CSS Also if you look at the benchmarks, nvidia & ati are neck & neck in most areas except the Half-Life 2 engine (CS S) Here ATI clearly dominates on all levels. I recently purchased X 850 XT & my FPS RARELY dips below 80. Absolutely awsome card! I would say worth every penny, but I think X 800 is almost as good for about $150.00 less, based solely on what people are saying. This much I have to say Soul, If you have even the slightest thought of spending a little more for a next - gen. card, look very closely at the X 800. By all accounts it's a fantastic card!

That's a really good price you found! I think either way you go you'll be happy. They're both good cards.

Also, Those are just a few, if you surf through hardware,software,casualware you'll find a lot more of the same. There's gotta be at least a couple that pop's up every week! Soul what are you looking for AGP or PCI-E? Post up & let us know, everyone I talked to was totally happy with both cards, although I've noticed a lot more with 9800 xt

I'm not too good over night, but I am usually up very early in the morning. I could relieve someone's "shift" if need be. This is my first time going though....if it's a matter of trust I'll try & sleep in. No biggie.
