Thanks everyone. Luckily the snow's melted so I had a good day doing nothing. We had curry for dinner, but it was some gross alternate brand than what we usually buy. Then we had some kind of marshmallow cake with ice cream. And for my present, I'm getting two imported Japanese figurines from Full Metal Panic. I was going to get the DMC4 Dante by PVC, but there's just something that didn't look right about him.

There are no clearly defined Japanese swear words, but it's still possible to swear by stringing certain words together and placing emphasis on the correct words. The entire system of adding titles after names, like -chan, -san, -sama, etc. can be used to insult people as well. One thing foreigners really need to know when going to Japan is to not call anyone by their first name, and especially without -san. To do so either implies you have an intense affliction for the person, like family or lover, or you intend to insult their name. There are also crude ways of speaking Japanese, kind of like talking gangster in English ... sort of ....

Aside from the banks, we currently have close to 5 feet of snow. Nothing was closed today, even though none of our roads are done. Nothing will be closed tomorrow I bet either. I want just ONE snow day for ME this year! :bang: I had a pic of me next to the snow bank, but my baggy pants and shirt made me look like I'm 500 pounds. Either that I've become 500 pounds cause I haven't weighed myself in a long time. That would suck.

By the time I reach the end of my driveway, I can't see the black beneath the front anymore!! The banks are so high, they're towering over my head and I'm running out of room to toss the snow! Of course I'm only joking. I don't buy BR discs either, they're too expensive. So are DVDs too, if you ask me. In fact, other than Advent Children, I haven't bought a movie in years because of the prices. I've seen that video before, it's kind of 'meh' because it doesn't actually work too well with complex graphics. So, the Wii's actually great. Unlike another console that's only good for playing NON-CONTINUED hd-dvd movies! LOLOLOLOL!1111

I guess I just miss the whole thing cause everything I've ever bought from Sony has been a good, reliable product that lasted a long time. Especially earbuds. There are other companies out there I've bought from that gave me products that didn't work from day one and they don't do anything to reimburse me. Like Command and Conquer 3 for example. The game does not run on my machine. It runs SupCom, TF2 and Hellgate, but I have yet (even today) been able to play my C&C3 copy that I bought at launch. My PS1 never broke (until I took a hammer to it in a fit of rage), my PS2 died once after five years and my PS3 works perfectly one year later. Their brand has always been expensive, but I felt worth the price. Maybe I am a fanboy. I wasn't offended by the $700 price tag. It was a BR player! I also got it for discount ($550[fanboyism]{the price of a certain other rip-off console}[/fanboyism]) at Walmart, which is what I paid for my PS2, so . . . Besides, we all know that sooner or later the world will have to bow to Sony when a certain game that starts with Metal and ends with Solid blows every other game ever made out of the water.

Can't really help you, other than to say that mine have worked fine. I have like . . . six . . . 0_o

I can't wait 'til it comes out on PC like all 360 games.

Hey. Long story short, I've been burning through razor blades because there's no pressure from my taps at my new house and they're really expensive, so I was considering getting an electric shaver because I'm under the impression that it cleans itself better. But everyone keeps telling me that they suck. But one razor blade is $3.50 and I toss one out at least once a week, so I need some kind of solution, even if it's downgrading to those .99 bic disposables. Any suggestions/help?

I guess this isn't a good time to say that I quit as soon as I had enough stars to beat Bowser...

The gameplay hasn't changed from 3 and the monsters don't really cause you to do anything different. The bosses are a lot funner to fight, but not as cool as the originality in 3. And there's nothing as epic in this game as the showdown between Dante and Vergil in 3. So, IMO, it's worse than 3, but better than 1 + 2(comparing to when they were initially released). Right now, though, it is the best of them all. The cutscenes are absolutely amazing, and really fun to watch. If you only play DMC for the gameplay, then, yeah, it's just DMC3 with better graphics, but the story definitely won't disappoint. Dare I say, I actually think Nero is (almost) as cool as Dante now. Another bonus is the game is it's alot longer. There's alot of backtracking, but unlike most reviewers have stated, I felt it was completely different going backwards with the "small" changes they made. If you watch all the cutscenes, you're looking at 12 hours at least for one difficulty (if you're good). The biggest letdown of the game is, for those who know who Nero really is - don't expect anything to happen with it. They saved it for 5 or something, because that plot gets dropped. I'm currently on Mission 10 on Dante Must Die. It's alot harder than DMC3, but at least you're not graded on the damage you take anymore, so when I finally manage to beat a stage, I actually get a pretty decent ranking.
