Yeah the Athlons X2 chips are getting pretty old but I hear the Phenoms II can hold up, until pitted against a i7 anyway. I'm waiting till next month to get the new rev E5200, should be fun to play with. Someone told me to get a E8400 instead but it's over twice as much, is it twice as fast?

Downloading now... So far seems cool, to me it seems like World of TF2 Onslaught. Like leveller said it's very customizable, part of the fun is using your points for upgrades. If you get on search for Bushwack

You like having the physical discs? Or was it cheaper then the steam store? It was $27 free ship, I'm cheap like that and I like to support retail. Makes you wonder how I got it for 27 and steam wants 40...having no disk, docs or case and not having to split the profits. Steam should really want 20.

I signed up for the beta some time ago but when I got my email for the key, they were all out already! Seems the email was set yesterday but only arrived in my mailbox moments ago. Well there's 4 more days of key sign ups. Anyone else trying for beta?

Yeah http://www.tesnexus.com/ is crazy good for Oblivion files. I think I'm about burnt with Oblivion and prolly gonna be a while before I play more Fallout, I need a new game.

I'd bump down the rez to native of that TV, is it really 1900x1200? 23-30 fps is kinda sucky for a shooter.

I don't have to worry about none of that stuff, thank goodness cause I buy a lot of crap off the net and I'm never home when they deliver. Sounds like you need some box that the ups can throw the stuff in, shut the lid and lock it for ya till you get home.

I hope they make it bigger like Oblivion, but really I don't see It happening. Ever again. I thought Fallout 3 was huge till I went back replayed Oblivion. I have over 100 hours in my new game and prolly only explored half the world and quests. Maybe. I'm sure it will be good though, Fallout 3 is an awesome game.

I died, a bit later one told me his textual preference, lol. My final score: 0 out of 202. I watched the guys walk around saying stuff a little longer while I was dead, the get pretty creative. In a Junior High kind of way.

3Dmark is stoopid, I went from one of these 8800 GT cards to a GTX 260 and my 3dmarks stayed the same (~12000) while all the games I played pretty much doubled in performance at 1600x1200. Still the 8800's pack a wallop for $92 shipped.

Someone said start early, I totally agree. My rule of thumb is if you never done a job before, it's gonna take twice as long as you figured at start. Sounds like you could do it yourself. If you have a friend that can watch, he'll point out the things your doing wrong and make fun of you. Plus if things just don't work out, you can always goto plan B and call the guy.

I blew a couple grand on cruise to Mexico (well a few spots) a few years ago, I could have flow and hung out in Japan for a few days. What was I thinking???
