There is an issue with the current version of Mani's Admin Plugin where it stores its bans outside the normal ban list. The short story is that the plugin re-bans people on every map change, so if an unban gets done outside of MAP it won't be effective. You are unbanned now if STEAM_0:0:33305947 is your Steam ID.

I just noticed that I had the wrong IP for the (TF2) server. Didn't realize NFo had more than one block and this one is in 216.52.143.0/24 not 216.52.148.0/24. tf2.gcftw.com should be good once it updates. I guess we can all l2read.

L4D2 got an update this afternoon that took the server down. Probably one of the mods on there. *I'm gonna try and fix it, but FYI I've been drinking for a bit already. TF2 should have the same RCON as before, which is posted in LACC (not the same as for CSS).

Could be old DNS since I only updated that A record one twenty minutes ago.

There are two players in it now. It should be up-to-date, since NFo updated it last night. Are you connecting to the new server, or the old server? If you're trying to connect to the server whose name starts with "'connect gctf2.nuclearfallout.net' for our new server" you're connecting to the old server. I didn't bother to update this as it will be gone soon. The new server is 216.52.148.53 (tf2.gcftw.com, gctf2.nuclearfallout.net). If you're having trouble with this one do let me know, but it may be you since there are people on it right now.

The 10x10 L4D2 server is moving addresses. New address is l4d.gcftw.com or 216.52.148.77. The new server is already on the existing stats system.

(1) "Really?" is how adult-children respond to something they don't like but have nothing reasonable to say against. (2) Out of context or not, swearing at someone and taunting them doesn't fly with me and won't with anyone else here. Even if this guy's the biggest douche on the Internet. You vote kicked once (twice?) so how hard is it to do it again, in the meantime just ignore. Just because someone's whining at you doesn't mean you have to answer them. (3) I can't speak for everyone else, but who votekicked who is not a big issue. Maybe this guy should've been kicked, maybe he shouldn't. Who am I to judge that, since I wasn't there and don't know what was going on at that time. (4) I don't think it needs to be published that everyone should be showing some respect and maturity. This is not a fundamentalist Christian server, or a children's server, but it is a server for mature adults. If you can't handle being at least indifferent to people you don't like, we don't want you here. People who can't control themselves are not fun for anyone to play with. (5) Most bans we do are going to be permanent, especially ex post facto bans. That's a practical matter and not some kind of universal judgement. Temporary bans disappear when the server restarts every morning. Obviously, calling people names does not qualify anyone to be banned for life from anything. If we ban someone, they will either care enough to post/PM someone about it or they won't. If they do, and we can reach some kind of agreement like "stop cussing people out" or "don't flash your teammates on purpose any more," the ban will be removed. Otherwise if someone posts about how we're Nazis trying to restrict their freedom to insult people over the Internet all day generally they'll stay banned. I think what's above should more or less cover what's been posted here so far, and I would ask anyone to re-read #5 to understand why I've basically ignored most of the posts in this thread. Jared, if you're able to play without calling people names and abandon jism-related names for yourself, you'll be unbanned.

0:11657324 is your Steam ID and the vote only banned you for five minutes. 9:1 in 6 minutes, maybe they thought you were cheating, or just too good for them. I don't play L4D2 so I'm not really sure if that's a good score or not. I can't say if they were right to kick you or not, but probably by the time you posted you could've got back into the server already.

I think I got Retro updated (just now) but I uninstalled CSS for disk space (shuffling files around) and it'll probably take hours to get it going again since VALVe will be slammed with people updating. If anyone can tell if it is or isn't working that'd be appreciated.
